If your thinking of staying in Les Campanules in Tignes, I would highly recommend it. We are staying here at the moment 13/12 to 20/12 2010. The weather is fantastic, we have just had another huge dump of snow, not too windy, sunshine, no crowds what more could you want. A little about the hotel - We booked through Thomson... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here in March 2010, having previously stayed in a chalet in Tignes. This was so much better. Very well located near the slopes although I would echo previous comments that the short path down to the centre of Le Lac was a little steep in ski boots whilst carrying skis and poles etc but manageable.... The hotel is generally nice & the food excellent, i booked with inghams and they give their clients "mountain views" be aware this means the back of the hotel overlooking a ugly concrete church. You are also facing the road which is snow ploughed in the early hours. If you are booked to stay you need to book direct with... More

Despite my dodgy schoolboy french the reviews all seemed pretty positive for this hotel and I have to say, I can only echo what some other reviewers have been saying. One of the better hotels in the Le Lac area of Tignes and whilst not quite ski in ski out, close enough to be a minute or 2 from the... More

We stayed at this hotel at the end of March/start of April 2009 but have only just got around to writing a review! The skiing was excellent and we liked the fact that this hotel was slightly quirky and traditionally French (which really is the same thing, I think). Not fashionable, not boutique, just nice and cosy and clean. It... More

My wife and I stayed here for a week. This is a great hotel with lovely rooms, fantastic food and a superb wellness centre. There is nothing better after a days skiing than having a swim in the outdoor pool watching the sun go down overlooking the mountains. I can't understand why some people don't rate this place, if you... More

The barman was rude, and ignorant. the drinks were overpriced but as to be expected from a mountain resort.... More

This is a lovely and charming hotel in a great location. We stayed in Dec 06 and went back in April 07. It's in a great location with great facilities. The food is wonderful and they will cook anything you want if you don't like the set menu. The only problem is the sitting area - which can get very... More

Stayed here for a week early Feb. Rooms very clean, kids twin was bigger than our double great outdoor pool and spa area. Ski lockers for each room and one minute from the centre of Tignes and major lifts. Food is terrific, the buffets are the best I have ever seen or tasted. Wine list is extensive if a bit... More
