Sometimes online photos can be deceiving, but in this case, they hardly did the place justice. What a relaxing, welcoming, lush and lovely chalet. Su and Andy--and everyone else who works there--are welcoming, attentive, and accommodating. The views are stunning, and inside it's obvious how much attention was paid to detail. (Not everyone will care about this, but there was...

The chalet is in an absolutely beautiful location, and the large glass windows in the living areas give gorgeous views. I'm sure this would be a nice place to stay if you are travelling without children, and not in the heat of the summer, and so those without children or travelling outside the summer months need not continue to read!...

We are very sad that despite our best efforts we could not satisfy this guest. We sat down with the mother of the family early in the week and resolved any concerns at that time to the delight of her husband. Only one of the issues detailed here was raised whilst the family stayed with us, despite us frequently asking...

I have just returned from a mini break of 5 days at Ferme du Ciel. This was my first chalet stay having always previously opted for hotels. I was not disappointed. The chalet is every bit as lovely as the web site photos show. Andy and Su are delightful. Eternally patient and considerate with just the right level of attention...

Just home from an amazing stay at Ferme due Ciel. The owners, Andy and Su (along with Natalie and Gabby) really went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay and their welcome was superb - they couldn't do enough for us! The chalet was tastefully decorated, comfortable and luxurious with superb food and plentiful wine - even...

I stayed at Ferme du Ciel a few years ago when I tried skiing with a friend for the first time. After the first night we had the place to ourselves as it was the end of the season. We were treated wonderfully by the owners and the chalet staff who served dinner. The food served over the week was...

We first stayed at Ferme du Ciel in January 2012, for a long ski weekend in the Grand Massif. We were seriously impressed by the beautiful building, both inside and out, the facilities, food, staff and owners Su and Andy. So we made a return trip in March 2012, along with another couple who are good friends. They were equally...

I just returned from a 3-night short stay at Ferme du Ciel. The skiing at Samoens was perfect with wide powdery slopes and pretty tree-lined descents. This was perfectly complimented by evenings spent in the most luxurious chalet I have ever stayed in. The spacious, luxurious yet homely living areas made for a warm and inviting ambience. The Jacuzzi and...

We had a truly fabulous week at Ferme du Ciel and can't wait to return. Andy, Su and the chalet girls looked after us all with real warmth. The quality of food and wine is excellent and evenings had just the right balance - plenty of opportunity to get to know others if desired, but equally easy to chill out...

I'm not normally one for writing review but thought Ferme Du Ciel thoroughly deserves it. We've stayed in many chalets over the years and none come close to this. There was lots of space to relax, several sociable areas to sit down and share stories, a sauna and hot tub to nurse the aching muscles and THE most comfortable beds...

We had an amazing week at the Ferme Du Ciel. It really is pure luxury. Beautiful bedrooms, stunning views, exquisite food and hospitality - Su and Andy and the team were the most wonderful hosts and really went out of their way to ensure our utmost enjoyment. Already saving our pennies to hopefully return in the future!
