Staying here with friends. Super family accommodation - 2 bedrooms and bathroom per family, very comfortable beds and delicious food. Relaxed and friendly hotel, we particularly like the guest lounge area, with snug, games and TV. Highly recommend for families wanting an authentic French chalet experience. With plus of lifts very close - 10 metres away!

Lovely friendly hotel on outskirts of la clusaz... Just Across the road is a lift, ski hire and lift pass kiosk, so very convenient. Would definitely return. Food very nice as long as you like cheese! Lovely ski area

What a find! A superb traditional French mountain chalet hotel- simple, basic clean rooms, friendly atmosphere and great food. Madame can't do enough to ensure you have the best stay possible. Excellent location with ski hire ( ski jument) and ski pass office opposite and two lifts connecting both sides of the mountain range. Looking forward to next time already...

I booked this hotel for a short ski break with my son, based on the reviews, and it did not disappoint. Rooms are basic but quiet, spotlessly clean with plenty of hot water and comfortable beds and when you're tired after a day on the slopes that's all you want - all you want, that is, except good and plentiful...

An older style Chalet hotel (14 rooms), somewhere between 2 and 3 stars. Fantastic location at the foot of two lifts (going to different areas) - cross the road and hit the slopes! With good snow conditions you could ski back to the hotel. The owner is friendly, helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The dinner was outstanding -...

The staff are very friendly, especially the lady proprietor. The best bit was dinner consisting of classic, homemade French cuisine. Desserts were particularly good. There are two lifts directly opposite the hotel which are right next to the ski hire shop, so couldn't be more convenient. It is a little away from the centre of La Clusaz, but there is...

The hotel was v clean and the evening meals were fantastic and very generous, perfect after a day in powder on the slopes. The best bit was the wonderful owner lady, she looked after us very well and really saved us when our transfer to the airport failed to arrive (alp to alp, never use them). She phoned all sorts...

Just sitting in Geneva airport after a lovely week at Hotel Borderan. Great location for the slopes with two lifts directly over the road from the front door. The host, Madame Bouvard, really couldn't do enough for her guests, her generosity was remarkable. Food was very good both at breakfast and dinner, the local Gamay wine was very nice and...

We stayed here for three nights in February. It is a very convenient short drive from Geneva and the Hotel is a little out of town right opposite a ski lift and ski hire shop. A perfect location for a long weekend ski ing. We stayed on a half board basis and the food was superb. The room was warm...

3km up the hill from La Clusaz (free bus service into town), the Hotel de Borderan was perfect for our ski party of 6, ranging in age from 9 to 68. Adequate, clean bedrooms with en suite baths (for midgets). Splendid, rustic-effect restaurant served with great charm by Madame. Good breakfasts, often with mega-croissants and a fabulous cheeseboard. Half-board also...
