We were expecting high standards from Neilson but we were disappointed. Starting with our arrival, our coach party was abandoned in a car park and waited for some time to be met by our chalet hosts. Eventually, one of the bar staff was dispatched to bring us to the hotel.. but without any greeting or introduction. After a long journey,...

Great accommodation with ability to reach the door without removing skis from the day's skiing. Neilson staff couldn't do enough for us. Tom Dep Manager and Callum in the bar were the stars but couldn't fault anyone. If you want a relaxed atmosphere with a bar and comfortable lounges to chill this is the place. The food was excellent too....

After having read poor reviews, I was dubious about our stay, but it was a delight! Great location, very helpful friendly staff, and everything you need after a great day on the slopes. Fantastic location, you can ski in and out, and minutes from the village. We had a balcony room, which was great, it might have felt rather cramped...

Hotel Escapade is great value for money. The rooms were comfortable, the food was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Before the holiday I had read some negative reviews about this hotel but I am pleased to say that in my opinion these reviews were wide of the mark. The hotel is rated as a 3* but...

Perfect week, great location. This is a 3 star hotel but thanks to the wonderful staff it really should be 5 star! Nothing was too much trouble for them and my wife and I were treated like royalty. We particularly enjoyed the bar which was very reasonably priced and the perfect place to enjoy apres ski. Well done team Neilson!

Just returned from a weeks stay at the Escapade it was a fantastic hotel where the staff were extremely helpful and the food was amazing all credit to Tommy the chef, sometimes I had to remember that it was only a 3 star property that we were staying in Our room was lovely and clean and replenished daily with coffee...

This hotel is in quite a good location, is clean, serves very good food and has excellent staff (with the exception of one who will remain nameless). However, I think it is unacceptable that they charge four middle aged men the full price for a holiday then squeeze them in to a room with a bunk bed and a double...

This hotel is totally amazing I could not speak more highly for a 3 star hotel we felt it was excellent value. The staff really do go out of their way and nothing is too much trouble ..they work really hard to keep the hotel spotless not only in the rooms but the bar / restaurant and wellness area are also...

Our stay in the Ecapade was very enjoyable. Whilst our room was pretty small it was comfortable and very adequate. The bathroom was tight, but there was always hot water. The staff were outstanding. Helpful and courteous in all aspects. We were a party of six and thought the food outstanding. Soup, cake and pastries at 4.00pm and an always...

I have never had cause to leave a negative review before. I had seen previous negative reviews but thought they may be exaggerated. Unfortunately not. The standard of cleanliness here is not only shocking but I believe dangerous to guests health. The room was so dirty on arrival I had to clean the kettle /mugs/spoons and the wooden furniture which...
