Just returned from a trip to Hotel Escapade, first Neilson holiday and would only go Neilson from now on! The chalet is in a fantastic location close to the chair lift to main ski area and a close walk to the town centre. The chalet was spotless. Perfect conditions, but the trip was really made by the lovely staff! The...

We were a group of 8 and loved our stay here. The staff couldn't have done more, always super helpful and keen to please, they work incredibly hard to keep everything moving and were friendly and polite the entire time, even going out of their way to arrange a birthday cake for my dad's 60th. The hotel rooms aren't massive,...

Just returned from a 4 day trip. Hotel was operated on a budget but rooms though (very) compact were clean and warm. Food was good though portions probably a little on the small side. Chalet staff were great. All very young but they worked hard for their customers. To much time was allowed for the 2hr transfer as the roads...

This is NOT not my first experience of a "Chalet Hotel" and Dec 20-27th was basically a "Shambles". Easily the worst ski accommodations I have endured. Oh, I'd a grand holiday despite the lack of snow but the other guests made that happen with the escape committee camaraderie. I'm no serial moaner, this is an objective review. Room 105 you'd...

Very happy with our first package deal ski holiday with Neilson/ Iglu. Hotel was very clean, rooms were comfortable with plenty of storage space. Worth paying the nominal amount more for piste view/ balcony so that you are on the quiet side of the hotel away from the road, with a view of the sunset over the mountains. We were...

We were expecting high standards from Neilson but we were disappointed. Starting with our arrival, our coach party was abandoned in a car park and waited for some time to be met by our chalet hosts. Eventually, one of the bar staff was dispatched to bring us to the hotel.. but without any greeting or introduction. After a long journey,...

Great accommodation with ability to reach the door without removing skis from the day's skiing. Neilson staff couldn't do enough for us. Tom Dep Manager and Callum in the bar were the stars but couldn't fault anyone. If you want a relaxed atmosphere with a bar and comfortable lounges to chill this is the place. The food was excellent too....

After having read poor reviews, I was dubious about our stay, but it was a delight! Great location, very helpful friendly staff, and everything you need after a great day on the slopes. Fantastic location, you can ski in and out, and minutes from the village. We had a balcony room, which was great, it might have felt rather cramped...

Hotel Escapade is great value for money. The rooms were comfortable, the food was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Before the holiday I had read some negative reviews about this hotel but I am pleased to say that in my opinion these reviews were wide of the mark. The hotel is rated as a 3* but...
