This is a very cheap hotel and we booked it last minute. To say it was only £40 for the night, it was worth it. It was modern-ish. But could do with a good bleach in the bathroom and some proper pillows, they did feel a bit like cotton balls in a pillowcase. Free wi-fi which was good too. Pleasant...

This hotel is not the Ritz but it is very good value for money. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Hotel is in an excellent position. There are lots of good restaurants within close walking distance. The staff are helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting a good priced hotel.

We arrived by train late after the channel tunnel had closed. Other hotels were full and we were short of cash. We were taken in with great kindness and paid under the price. We remain exceedingly grateful.

I wish I'd read the reviews before booking - a lesson for me! The bed had clean linen but the pillows felt as if they'd seen better days. The ceiling light fitting was just loosely hanging from the ceiling and there was a lot of dirt visible under the wall heater.Paint in the corner of the ceiling was very discoloured....

This is maybe the worst hotel experience we have had in over 40 years of traveling in Europe. The place is fairly run down and the composting toilets are a nuisance (maybe necessary due to lousy plumbing and very noisy). The paint on the walls is peeling, the ceiling shows moisture damage, the wash basin needs a refit, and the...

Booked a twin room at short notice. We were looking for something cheap and central. This hotel is in a quiet area near the church. It is within walking distance of restaurants. Our room was an attic room. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. It was however very basic. Only one single wardrobe for two people, no satellite...

Recently stayed in one of the apartments at this hotel and it was awful. I can't think of one good thing to say about it. Everything about it was terrible and I'd never return here. The bed wasn't a proper bed, the spare sleeping bags in the wardrobe smelt awful and the bath/shower was so grotty.

We were doing a short weekend in the area and just wanted somewhere cheap to stay for 1 night. Are expectations were realistic and we didn't expect to much but this place just isn't for me. The rooms are really small and the walls are paper thin which meant that you could hear everything in the next room. The bathroom...

Stayed here with family for 1 night as we were doing a shopping weekend in the area. The rooms were shabby and the walls are paper thin and you can hear the next room. The receptionist was polite and friendly. We got there late evening and left early morning and that was enough. I wouldn't stay here again.
