I stayed with my school on the 13-17 of July and the rooms were bad the bath was the wronge way round and kept on leaking there wasn't enough room in the room and the windows were all dirty we had to clean them ourselves with baby wipes. We had chips all week and got very boring on the first...

An ex Kyriad Hotel, Hotel de la Plage is functional, pleasant, and inexpensive. We have not eaten an evening meal in the restaurant but the petit dejeuner is very acceptable. There are rooms on the ground floor for those not wishing to use stairs. The walls are not insulated for sound so if there is a school party in residence...

Ideally located for eurotunnel. A surprisingly good restaurant and bar with friendly staff. Rooms a bit tired and not that well soundproofed, however it is value for money. The car park looks a bit dodgy but having stayed here a few times now I have never had any problems.

Stayed 1 night pit stop on our way home. Booked this hotel because it was close to the Docks. However because of the French striking again!! we were detoured around the city "badly" and ended up being late for our departure as were many others. On arrival at the hotel we were put in the next door hotel which was...

Group of six well looked after, variety of seafood very good, service was good if not exceptional. Keenly priced for lunch and if in the locale would return. Decor was dated and not to everyone's tastes, given the quality of food don't let it deter you.

We use the hotels on the sea front in Calais as an overnight halt before catching the ferry in the morning. The rooms are clean but fairly basic (TV, kettle and fridge) bathroom and the beds were fine. There is a restaurant which does mainly French cuisine but some English is available but there is something for everyone. It does...

Husband dictating this review, he's arrived home from a 'WW1' trip around Cambrai and Honefleur etc. This hotel is ample for what they needed. Motorbikes were stored outside the main entrance, the concierge very helpful with parking and check in. Rooms were bright, sheets clean, and comfy beds. He would not hesitate to recommend this hotel, as the view from...
