We've stayed here on a number of occasions: it's located about 10 minutes from the Eurotunnel and makes a great stopover to and from any continental trip. The staff are always welcoming, no matter what the time. The rooms are comfy, if fairly basic. One huge double and overbed single per room. Two rooms adjoining, which is great for families. Breakfast...

Tired, dirty and not at all welcoming. Good points - location for ferry and easy walk into town, although Calais is a dump. Wouldn't like to think of single ladies staying here as its dark, dingy and a bit creepy. The price is good, but this is reflected in the clientele in the bar area. OK for one night when...

Avoid this place if you can.....we visited this place on the way home to break the journey after a seven hours drive through France. It was the only place we could find with availability. We were not surprised we were the only ones around. We found it to be dirty, without the possibility of a cup of tea or coffee. no...

We caught a late Eurostar so this was a very cheap option for a night before travelling onto Paris the next day. Unfortunately although the rooms were clean(ish), the stink of cigarette smoke. The bathroom doors didn't shut and shower was awful! Beds were okay and we were in the hotel a maximum of 8 hours. The car park is...

Very cheap, very clean, great location, secure parking. It's a great location. For a cross channel trip. With the money I save by staying here I get a great meal in the old town. All I look for is somewhere safe, cheap, well located and clean, and this place is ideal.

Stayed for 1 night as a stop over on a Sunday night. Good - Price - Close to town centre - Free off street parking - Bar area - Pool Table - Optional breakfast available for a fee of circa €5 Bad - Reception staff not very friendly - Rooms very basic - Mattress poor/sagging - Looks like a prison...

This is a perfectly functional hotel: Clean, friendly staff (who speak English too), freshly decorated and in good repair with plenty of parking. Most importantly there is also free internet. They could do with lengthening the shower curtain by one inch as it is short of the water collection tray’s lip and so the bathroom always ends up flooded. Also...

Comfortable, well equipped rooms which offer the basics but not shabby. Free parking, close to ferry port. Nice buffet breakfast, again basic but plentiful & great value. Swift check in at 1am and check out. Friendly and helpful staff. Similar to U.K. Travel lodges.

You get what you pay fur here. The location is superb, 10 mins from eurotunnel terminal and slap bang in the middle of the town. The reception was friendly and efficient - we didn't take the breakfast option due to time but retrospectively probably should have in our way out as you can't get a take out coffee anywhere!. The...

This is not the smartest hotel... if you want a Marriot this is not it but as a simple hotel which is perfectly comfortable this is perfect. I have stayed here before and will again. Very friendly and helpful staff. The location is also surprisingly good for local restaurants and bars...a 3 min walk!!
