The room was up the stairs a little ways, but we only had our backpacks and cameras so it was not bad, cute room, cozy and had bathtub, great for a soak after all the stairs, bed was very comfortable and they had extra blankets also, it was a dream, internet did not work. check in was a breeze and very...

Stairs, stairs and more stairs! But seriously, can there ever be too many?! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here once we found the teeny tiny little office to check in. The hotel has several different locations and ours was at the top of, you guessed it, more stairs! There are no elevators in the building we were in which wasn't...

Situated inside the wall of the Abbey every square inch of the walls are covered in memorabilia depicted in posters of their very famous guests. We had a room on the top floor overlooking the bay. We had to climb the stairs to the hotel lobby, then stairs to our building, then up to the 3rd floor. All carrying your...

It is my first time in Brittany. Stayed in this hotel for 1 night from 2nd march-3rd march. Had a lovely stay in here. One thing that impressed me the most was the room i was living was an attic room. After all my hometown Singapore does not even have any room with attics. It is definitely my first time...

This charming hotel on Mont-Saint-Michel is normally pretty pricey, but I snagged a very good bargain in March, when there are few tourists on the island, and treated my husband to a Million Dollar View for his birthday. Sitting in our room, with the huge window thrown open to the sea, and watching the sunset as we sipped our wine...Best...

This is a great place to stay if you decide to stay on the island after dark. The room price is not bad for the area. The only draw back is you better drink and eat early if staying on the island because everything closes early.

The positive obviously being that you're staying in castle on an island, with that being said the hotels are squished into corners and are small which is expected. Don't expect spacious accommodations, there was basically enough room around the bed to shuffle around the room. The tub and bathroom were small and the hotel is old, which given its setting...

Great views when you do a little walking. Loved the isolation (we went off season I guess) . Hotel was friendly everyone helpful. Room is very plain and small but perfect for us. Getting there was easy. Buses run one after the other. Parking was prearranged with the hotel. We found great places to eat on the island. Not gourmet...

Must admit that it was a few years back but I imagine change is slow in this medieval town. I went to the next hotel to get wifi working. It was simple but I liked how it was tucked away up the cobblestone steps and the people were quite nice. It seems like an adventure to stay in such a...

It felt like a fake setting, in this old medievil town. Amazing in the day but to experience the night is a whole new thing! Watching the sun set, and the tide come in was beautiful... with a fraction of the tourists from the daytime. The buildings are light up... felt like a Fairy Tale! Food is horrible but would...
