This is a little gem of a B and B tucked away in a quiet residential side street, ( so very easy parking) but only a short 5 to 10 minute stroll into the main town of Arras with great sights, atmosphere, restaurants and bars. There are only 2 rooms, but both are very spacious, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and...

We stayed in here in June 2017 to visit our great uncles war grave. The accomodation was perfect for us as we were traveling as two couples. The rooms were immaculate, tidy and comfortable and even tough the train station was an easy, flat walk, to ensure we didn't miss our early train, the owner offered to drive us! The...

My husband and I enjoyed a two night stay in the "Taupe" suite which was spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Danny and Luc were genial hosts and eager to please. The breakfasts were both delicious and "elegant". This B&B is well located for sightseeing, restaurants and shopping - all within walking distance. It is also a good base for the...

We didn't know quite what to expect when staying in Arras and we were certainly not disappointed in booking Le Pourquoi Pas. Dani and Luc are fabulous hosts. (Dani continually apologised for her 'poor' English but it was such fun talking to her). We took the Taupe room which has been positively described in other reviews. We agree. It was...

There is really no reason for this review as we agree entirely with previous reviewers. This B & B is a rare gem. There are 2 guest suites with en suites and a large common area including equipped kitchen. The entire residence is elegant and most tastefully decorated. Breakfast is ample, healthy and changes. Dani and Luc are relaxed, gracious...

My husband, our friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at Le Pourquoi Pas. Danielle and Luc were friendly and very welcoming and ready with suggestions about restaurants, places to see and directions. Our accommodation was actually an apartment, with a sitting area and kitchenette and two comfortable bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. It was all beautifully decorated and...

We spent two nights at this lovely B&B which is situated in a quiet, safe neighbourhood. Our hosts were very friendly and obliging. The room was large and bright, the bathroom nicely set up. The breakfast was healthy and delicious. An 8-10 minute walk takes you to many restaurants in the city. Highly recommended!

The outside is unassuming, on a quiet street in Arras a 10 minute walk to the train/city centre. The inside, a treasure. Danielle and Luc have done wonderful things with this home, impeccable taste and decorative flair. It is very welcoming, decorated with attention to detail and makes one feel comfortable right away. The rooms we stayed in were spotless...

The accommodation looks inauspicious from the outside but what a gem awaits within. We occupied both rooms so had the whole floor to ourselves. Both rooms were equally lovely: spotless, comfortable and beautifully presented. The addition of the communal sitting area was excellent too. Dany and Luc were the most welcoming and charming hosts. They were warm and funny and...

This guest house is impeccable yet unassuming from the outside but step inside and you will find a stylish, exceptionally clean and beautiful interior. Enter into a calming and invitingly lit and scented reception area and then upstairs to the guest accommodation opening onto a comfortable seating area with a plethora of information for Arras and the surrounding areas and...
