Great little property within a charming village across the river from Avignon. Our host was wonderful and pampered us with service. Wish that I was able to enjoy the pool, but the weather was too cool for the weekend. If there were room for six-stars, I would give it here.

Excellent central location absolutely steeped in history. This small hotel is unique, quiet and a really great place to stay. The secluded walled in garden - complete with a lovely pool is an added bonus. What could be better that sitting on the terrace under grapevines eating great food? The four rooms are all modern, light and spacious with efficient air...

This very well located BB is quiet, clean and has a wonderful host (Jean-Paul Grangeon). We had the last room in the row with 3 beds, airco, great shower and garden view. The BB has a pool and and nice restaurant which we have not visited due to time but fully booked with happy people. You can even walk to...

Les Jardins was a perfect retreat to return to each night after a big day exploring Avignon and surrounding area. The garden, pool and restaurant terrace area is completely enclosed by a ancient high stone wall making it perfectly secluded and private. Jean-Paul was a delightful host serving a pleasant breakfast each morning, suggesting days activities and booking tours. The restaurant...

16 years ago, our family of 4 was staying in Avignon and ventured over to Villeneuve-les-Avignon for dinner. We had no particular place in mind (pre-TA) but saw that Les Jardins de la Livrée was open. We were there early and were able to walk in without a reservation. The dinner we were served was so good that we had...

Some friends who live in Villeneuve booked Les Jardins for 3 of us who were there for a special party. The price was so reasonable I must confess I was expecting nothing more than a comfortable room for 3 nights. However, it is absolutely lovely, a house formerly used by a cardinal in Papal times right in the heart of...

This is an absolutely charming chambre d'hote with a superb restaurant in the centre of Villeneuve les Avignon and Jean Paul Grangeon could not do more to be a better host. The rooms are delightful overlooking the garden and stunning pool and in it is in an excellent location within minutes of everything the village has to offer, but still...

thank you for your opinion, which is especially important that you spent four nights. You could spend more time in the garden in June roses are still in bloom, oleander are beautiful. At breakfast in addition to cherries, I served you loquats garden. See you next year.

We had stayed with John Paul Grangeron (and otherfamily members) 5 or 6 years ago and wouldn't have considered any place else to stay on our return to Provence. Their place has 4 rooms for rent, but the place (a historic structure) overall is much larger than this room total suggests. The garden is large, featuring a large swimming pool,...

Thanks for your review, I haven't much to add. I am always amazed when I get people from across the world! I am careful so that their stay goes well, however, I am discreet and they enjoy a vacation rental with a hotel service: that's my definition of a B & B. There is a table on the grass for...

Quiet, friendly and a wonderful location. A true continental breakfast is provided that might seem light to 'English breakfast' fans but we enjoyed its taste and simplicity. Secure parking is provided on site as well as a spacious yard with a pool. We found that our comfortable B&B gave us an opportunity to mingle with the locals in this village....

A lovely little hotel and restaurant about 30 minutes walk from Avignon - or there's a bus service every 20 minutes or so. The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable. The furnishings are rustic, in keeping with this old building. It's a pleasure to have breakfast on the terrace by the swimming pool and the service is exceptionally good....
