The restaurant is set in a lovely old building, with artwork on the walls. In summer you can dine on a vine covered outdoor terrace. There is a 29 euro menu for dinner, with a good choice of meat and fish dishes. The wine list is short but contains some good local producers. Recommended.

Ceret is infested by English people but this hotel is a gem. It has the feeling that it has been unchanged for decades, whilst it is perfectly clean and comfortable. The decor is mainly simple whitewash with framed posters of art exhibitions from the 50s and 60s to adorn it. There is some suggestion Picasso used to stay. The building...

Stayed in Ceret for 2 nights great little hotel all very good, rooms fine position excellent enjoyed Ceret. Not a great deal to do but glad we stopped there. It was nice to have a balcony overlooking the street. We also visited the aqueduct on our way out which was worth stopping for

Charming and cosy hotel in the centre of town. So Southern France. Lovely ladies at reception and the restaurant was a beautiful setting. Food was magnificient. Was initially only going to spend 2 nights, but loved it so much , extended to 5. Only downside - wifi was bad

We spent 5 nights staying here and had a lovely time. No hairdryer, T.V or kettle but we didn't care it was clean and comfortable and fantastic value for money. The staff were very helpful and we probably had our best dinner of the holiday in the restaurant. Ceret is a fascinating place and the hotel is in an amazing...

Three years ago I wrote a scathing review of this hotel because I was sent to another hotel with no advance warning since filming was taking place at hotel Vidal. Why then go back you might wonder? Well my brother in law made the booking and it was the only place with rooms available at this time since it was...

We stopped here by chance one rainy evening in June. We were instantly charmed by the old world atmosphere and charming cosy design touches, particularly the breakfast on the secluded terrace. Excellent value for money - who needs a TV!

An average experience. The hotel smells strange, not pleasant. As 3 adults, our triple room was a shoebox, as was the bathroom. The mattresses were so hard, every spring could be felt and they were clearly old and in need of replacing, and the pillows were also useless. The bathroom was so cramped there was barely room to dry yourself....

We were visiting the town of Ceret and spotted this gem of a hotel from the back entrance which has an ivy covered open balcony overlooking a little courtyard. The front of the hotel looks onto one of the main squares. The hotel is near to the old town walls and the main square is dominated by huge shady trees...

This is certainly the antithesis of a "chain" hotel, very much a "one-off" experience. We were lucky to time our arrival to coincide with a vacant street parking place almost beneath what turned out to be our room. That room was simple and unfussy, with interesting art on the walls and, although small, had all we needed for a one...
