Got a great Groupon deal on this hotel. Great location; 2 minutes walk from the Metro. The room was small but tastefully decorated and clean with a very comfortable bed and a great view. Breakfast was good: the room was small as other reviews state but we found it charming. Would return.
Good location, good breakfast, clean rooms, friendly staff. In immediate proximity there is a taxis, bus stop and subway. The area has restaurants for dinner and a supermarket. I'm happy with the stay and the hotel. I recommend it for your price.
I would never ever recommend this hotel, the only good thing about it is the location as it's near the metro. I took my partner for his birthday and I emailed 4 times and called as I had received no response, Finally when I got through to someone I asked for a bottle of wine to be in the room for when we arrived as it was a special occasion, they said yes and I offered to pay over the phone and he told me that I could pay when I got there but was quite rude on the phone to me. When we arrived there was no wine in the room. I had booked months in advance and had paid for a superior double room, there was nothing superior about it you had to go sidewards around the bed. When I went downstairs and showed the staff the pictures of what their website showed as a superior double and to what I had he just said Im sorry there is nothing we can do we are fully booked and that was it. Then to top it off the air conditioning unit leaked all night leaving the carpet underneath saturated and caused my suitcase and clothes to get wet. the service and the hotel was not good at all. I would highly recommend staying anywhere else but here.
we recently traveled to Paris as a surprise 50th birthday present for my wife. Having purchased the deal off Groupon and the first time i had used them for breaks i was a little apprehensive but shouldn't have been. The hotel is small buy adequate and very clean. The rooms are a little on the small side but are very clean and tidy and were just what we needed for our stay. The breakfast which was included was very good with plenty of choice of cooked or continental and the only fault i found was that the dining area was a little on the small side so if you didn't time it right there was a wait for a table. The hotel is about 400 meters from the tube station which was fantastic as it was just a short hop to all the main attractions and was only 1 Euro 90 cents anywhere on the under ground which made travelling very easy. This hotel was ideally situated for us and would recommend you stay there and the staff were very helpful as well
The hotel is well situated. Across the road is a bus stop that links Gare du Nord to Neuilly-sur-Seine and a little further on is the yellow line 1 metro, which I think is the best metro line for the sights and transfers to other lines. There are plenty of shops and restaurants in walking distance and a cash machine right outside. The interior of the hotel is modern with a reception area that doubles as a bar. The staff on reception were always helpful to us. There are five floors, access via stairs or a mid sized lift. The lift opens onto hallways that are lit by timer lights, so be aware that you may step out into the dark. The light switches have their own lights to spot them. The room we had was a reasonable size, with a safe (didn't try it), a complimentary bottle of water which wasn't changed, tea and coffee facilities and air con (which turns off after an hour, 23degrees centigrade was the lowest setting which was perfect for us). The room was clean and refreshed everyday. Breakfast is in the old cellar, and has variety, both hot and cold options, everything of which I tried and enjoyed, with the exception of the scrambled egg. The staff were kept busy by the steady stream of customers. We had no problems, good choice for a trip to Paris.
