There are no words to describe the beauty of Abruzzo. The village of Navelli is blessed with Francesca and her love and knowledge of the area. We were able to visit several cities in the region and she will provide transportation. The accommodations are wonderful. Ciao Francesca! Mille grazie per tutti! Anthony and Rosann

This is at least the 10th time we’ve stayed at this lovely place. Francesca, the owner, knows wonderful places to visit in the area. We come to Italy several times a year; but Abruzzo through the lens of this owner makes it the most special of all. Thank you FrancescA for finding even more adventures for us and for the perfect room for us to rest. Also, loved sitting in the sun on the patio for a coffee!

It was wonderful to stay in a real Italian home and Francesca’s hospitality was second to none. The top sheet on the bed was beautifully embroidered, as were the towels. Her knowledge of the area and suggestions for outings and restaurants in which to eat were most appreciated. This was a bed and breakfast establishment and the breakfast was most generous. The little dog that ran along the top of the wall whenever anyone came to the gate was just so sweet. Francesca is an amazing woman. Having grown up in Milano, she has returned to Navelli to ensure that it survives and she does her utmost to ensure that the local traditions continue to prosper. It was from Navelli that we watched Stage 7 of the Giro d'Italia as it passed through going from Popoli to L'Aquila. The whole town got involved and there was a wonderful festa atmosphere.

This place is a magical place nestled in the mountains. Francesca welcomes you with open arms and treats you like family! You can't help but feel like you are home! She was very accommodating and organized some amazing trips for my friends and me. I highly recommend taking a trip to this quaint village! It was exactly what I needed to feel rejuvenated.

Perfect stay for us as we wanted to discover the hills in Abbruzzo. Francesca is reliable and the B&B offers all the services one might need while traveling. Would highly recommend for couples and friends looking to do hikes and walks in the area.

Best B&B ever! We stayed here for two nights with our dog and were welcomed by Francesca in true Italian style. Beer on arrival, the room is lovely and clean but also very cool in the hot weather. Good price and lovely quiet house although cenral to the main Piazza and close to the Gran Sasso mountain range. Breakfast is a feast of home-grown produce, cereals, eggs, yoghurts, orange, coffee and the list goes on. Francesca knows so much about the local area and is very willing to pass on her knowledge and tips on where to get local produce and what places to visit. I most certainly recommend this B&B.

When we stepped inside we immediately felt at home. The common rooms are filled with character and the private rooms are big and clean. The breakfast was nice and the little medieval town of Navelli is gorgeous. However, Francesca gives the place its real soul. She gave us great advice on what to see and experience in the surrounding area and where to eat for dinner. The best part was her and her partners knowledge of hiking in the national parks. They helped us plan the perfect route. Next time we go to Abruzzo, we will stay at this B&B again!

We stayed two nights at this lovely B&B "Secreto" is an oasis of comfort and hospitality at the foot of the medieval town of Nevelli. After being on the road for days, it felt like a home away from home. Francesca has a wealth of knowledge about the region and clearly has a mission to help visitors have an enhanced experience of this fascination region of Italy. We loved staying here

Stayed one night with my husband on our 10 day Abruzzo stay. Absolutely loved the accommodations and the owner, Francesca. She was kind enough to take us out on an amazing hike (seriously one of the best experiences of my life.) I didn't pack my hiking gear due to weight limitations at the airport but she let borrow hiking shoes and trekking poles - where else would I receive that kind of service? She also made us bacon and eggs, knowing us Americans love our protein packed breakfast. When in the region again, I will stay again. Thank you Abruzzo Segreto for a wonderful stay.

Francesca and Jimmy open their home to guests with nicely appointed and very comfortable rooms. You immediately feel like family as Francesca attended to every wish and set an incredible breakfast table each morning. Evening wine and cheese on the patio among the grape vines with the sun setting was a favorite time. A very warm and inviting B&B with and extra special hostess! We will be back!
