Great location near Paris and far from the Paris hassle. Fairly nice venue, clean overall.
Breakfast buffet absolutely overpriced. rooms furniture very cheap, easily breakable. Staff very variable from the very nice one (Clement) to the horrendous one (Sara, she is very very mean). I forgot the name of the other guy at the reception, he is the worst. Promised daily Room cleaning not met (they just changed the towels).

We have just returned from an Easter break in Paris. We stayed at the Residhome for two nights, myself & my two kids aged 11 & 14. The hotel is spotlessly clean & quite modern in decor. Our room was a little small for the three of us especially as my son slept on the sofa bed. It wasn't a big issue as we only used the room to sleep in. It was fairly quiet at night.

The hotel has only breakfast facilities. We arrived both days at around 9.30am & had no problem getting a table. Breakfast was very good and their was a choice of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, croissants, toast, cereal, juices & various teas/coffees.

This hotel is in the business district of La Defense. The buildings are spectacular in the area, especially the Grand Arch. The metro station is beside the Arch and is a main line straight through to the main tourist must sees. Beside the metro station is the huge shopping complex of Quatre Temps. There you can easily spent all day - it's huge ! It has lots of restaurants including McDonalds, Starbucks, Haagen Dazs. I can especially recommend Vapino. There they cook freshly made pasta in front of you & you can choose your own sauce to go. They also do freshly made pizza, salads etc. Quite reasonably priced too.

We saw all the main sights while there. I would highly recommend booking a tour that takes in the Eiffel Tower as they will take you straight past all the queues. It was 1.5 hour wait just to get a ticket & then a further hour or so in line to go up the tower. Soooo glad we booked a tour ahead ! I'd also advise booking tickets for the Lourve in advance. Children go free below age 26. Again the queues were long & if you have pre-booked your ticket you can go straight in.

All in all we had a lovely stay. If you don't mind being a little out of the city then this is a great place to stay.

Well the first holiday with a new boyfriend can be daunting and booking a holiday 10 days before departure for a control freak like me is certainly a challenge!

We booked this through Eurostar holidays directly having looked at the pictures and read some reviews on here. It looked like exactly what we were looking for which in all honesty was somewhere to base ourselves for 4 days and 3 nights.

Eurostar trip out was lovely and we arrived at Garde du Nord and made our way to the hotel. This was a little more of a challenge (god bless iPhones and European internet allowance!!) initially we came out of the wrong exit which made the walk a lot longer than it should of been. In all honesty if you come out of the correct exit (head for the arch) its a 10 minute walk to the location.

When we arrived tired and a little warm due to the gorgeous weather we were promptly and politely greeted by reception staff who told us where our room was 524. When we got into the room it was perfect just what we needed.

ROOM:
Light and airy I would describe it as. As you enter there is a well sized bathroom to the left and a kitchenette immediately in front, this was much better equipped than I had expected. You then went into the living room/bedroom area. Massive wardrobe (naturally I took most of the space up!!) a free safe (pet hate of mine is paying for safes) fabulously comfy bed. A desk with a wall mounted TV, a little sofa a balcony with 2 chairs and a table and a little sofa/sofa bed which was sweet.

Lovely touch of a welcome basket which had some tea and coffee.

Its a short walk to La Defense station which is at the end of the Metro line and is also served by the RER so excellent transport links into central Paris. We couldn't have picked it better.

POINTS
The shop opposite has very limited opening hours - however there was a little shop inside the station at La Defense where we purchased wine, milk, crisps etc. The bed was so comfy and pillows were lovely with extras in the wardrobe.

We didn't eat or drink at the hotel so cant comment on that

Very clean and the maid came every day we were there.
My only complaint was it was too warm in the room and for the life of me and my boyfriend we couldn't work the AC. Other than that perfect

Oh and Paris.....amazing!! When can I go back?!?

We made seperate single room for all. At first night the staff told you don't do that and 2 of us stayed in 1 room till next day we talk to another staff and solve the problem.
At first and second days we don't have internet, as the hotel again has problem.
The staff were not experienced.
Cleaning of the room was terrible because of low staff.
The first time I enter the room, the room floor was full of hair. I told the hotel to clean.

It's the last night we are here. We booked here with breakfast. Location is good and near to shopping center and subway station.but daily cleaning is really disappointing... they didn't clean room everyday and once I had complained one of the impolite staffs with the woman who was cleaner had came to our room and finally nothing happened and the day after they didn't clean the room totally. Shampoo and soap and tissues never changed these 5 days. Staffs are impolite and I don't recommend this hotel never come back .

Female travelling alone for business. Walked into the room, a patio style window was open at both sides and didn't seem to lock. When I called someone up to check it the response from reception was "you're on the 9th floor, madame!" They say they have no other rooms available.... (without checking as they say the system is down)... what would they do if there were a fire?!!!

I stayed at thé Residhome Courbevoie la Défense in July 2022 and had a great stay. The staff was excellent- all very kind and accommodating. The area is very close to Paris by train and Uber (Arc de Triomphe is one stop away on the train). La Défense and the Westfield shopping center is a short walk away and is great for shopping.

I did have issues with the key cards on the elevator but other than that, everything was great.

Loved my stay.

I stayed a week, and I'm ready to go back anytime. Clean and beautiful room. great service. I came for a break, and I did have a good rest. I appreciated the kindness of the staff, and I want to mention Mr. Lasaad for his exceptional professionalism. The location is very convenient with grocery stores and restaurants all around.

We were slightly concerned about this place because of some of the negative reviews but we needn't have been. Overall, it was brilliant.

Our party included my wife, my 16 month old daughter and myself.

We chose a double room with single sofa bed, and asked for a cot (lit d'enfant avec cotes.) which they provided free of charge. We arranged this by email and phone prior to our arrival, and found the staff very helpful at arranging this.

The hotel was quite hard to find because of the one way systems around La Defense. But it was only about 15 mins of drivinign around, so no dramas.

On arrival the receptionist, Simon, was incredibly friendly and helpful. He offered a twin room to us because it was apparently more spacious but we wanted the double and as we werent planning to use the single sofa bed this seemed the best option. And so it turned out to be.

We paid 30 euros for parking from 7pm Friday night until 7pm Sunday night. So we picked the car up after check out - no problem. You just drive the car out of the car park and the automatic sensors open the door so there is no need for a security pass on the way out.

The room was easily big enough for the 3 of us, and the balcony provided a great place to eat dinner and breakfast. We had read some unhappy reviews about the restaurant so we decided to save our money and buy breakfast from the boulangerie instead. I recommend doing this because its much cheaper and less hassle, and of course you cant beat freshly cooked french bread and croissants. The boulangerie is only a 5 minute walk across Parc du Millenaire. If you want jam and butter, there is a corner shop with loads of stock directly opposite the hotel.

The kitchenette had a fridge, dishwasher, a microwave (ideal for baby bottles) and two hobs. All the utensils you could need (inclining a bottle opener, frying pan, colander and saucepan) and a few washing tablets for the dishwasher. There was no washing detergent or scrubbing brush for the sink though. The bedroom itself had nice modern furniture with a flat screen TV and there is also free wifi.Cant complain!

Its a 10 minute walk to the Metro at La Defense, Grande Arche, and from there it is 5 stops (10 mins) to the arc du triomphe, and about another 10 mins to Notre Damme. So a very good location.

Only small downsides (which are hardly worth mentioning) were the surfaces on the balcony could have been a bit cleaner (quite dusty) and the fold down double bed had a slight incline on it so that the pillow end was slightly lower than the feet end.

We placed the cot in the kitchenette which seemed to provide no problems for our daughter to sleep, and also left enough room for us to get through to the toilet.

I would definitely go back to Residhome and I would recommend this place to anyone without hesitation. Hope this is useful.

Arrived hotel on the 26th of August,2012 with my wife and children. Our first shock was that the 2 bedroom apartment we booked for was not available. We were helplessly squizzed into 2 separate one room/studio rooms. The reason we were given was that their rooms have been over booked. The rooms were so small, especially the bedroom, I could not kneel by the bed to say my prayers because of the smallness. What they call a kitchen was nothing but the passage between the entrance door and the room, so if you are in the so called kitchen nobody can pass through from the entrance door to the room except you leave there. Shocker number two: cooker stove was not working; shocker number three: we could not have access to electric iron for 3 days after our arrival, and the reason they rudely gave us all the time, was that all the irons are with other guests. A four star hotel could not afford ordinary electric iron for each of their rooms. This aparthotel does not have a gym nor swimming pool....... Waooooh! Yet someone rates it a four star? Anyone that qualifies it as a four star aparthotel does so mainly to deceive and cheat people who do reservations online on simple trust. It's high time hotel search agencies stop deceiving people with over bloated ratings to cun potential patronage. This aparthotel is nothing more than a 2 star rating. John Deby.
