The hotel looks recently refurbished and is well located in the centre of town near restaurants etc. The reception staff were helpful and friendly. The bedroom was small but functional with some nice modern furniture. The one thing that was a little annoying was that the bathroom door was a modern, sliding, frosted glass affair. It looked nice but it...

Dear sir, I thank you for your comment on this new bedroom. For the bathroom door, as you mentionned it is made of frosted glass, so you can only see the form of the person but no more. Next time you stop in my hotel please ask for a more traditionnal bedroom, with traditionnal wooden door to enter the bathroom....

This accommodation was part of our 2700kms tandem cycling holiday through France. We arrived quite late at our accommodation after an extremely difficult day's cycling. It was a welcome relief to be greeted by friendly, welcoming staff. Our bicycle was securely garaged. Our room was located upstairs (wide stairwell) and had quite a modern 'minimalist' decoration. It had a queen-sized...

Very clean, well presented and modern room albeit quite small which is typical of many French hotels. The air con, despite being switched off, came on rather irritatingly at 5h30, 6h30 and 7h30 each morning. Also there was a high tech bedside light on each side of the beds which gave out an eerie blue glow when in repose mode...

Easy to find and with parking! Lovely quirky pieces of art/furniture in the reception area and on the landings were a nice touch. The rooms were small but clean, bed big and comfy, and had everything you need. Central to the shops and restaurants, just right after a long drive,

Right in the middle of town. A modern comfortable room, quite small but adequate. Clean and well furnished. Free WiFi and sky news on the flat screen television. Locked parking behind the hotel and a separately run restaurant next door. I would definitely come back again. There is a bar.

1 night in hotel in August 2015 Nice rooms English speaking staff Great location, near all shops and restaurants Has air con, but it is on a timer, and switches itself off. When we vacated the hotel, my hubby left the keys with staff at the reception, but a minute later we were followed outside by the staff , shouting...

Stayed here for one night on our way back to UK from Italy. We stayed on a Sunday and the whole town was closed. Not easy to find someone to eat. Played an interesting part in the arrest of leading French a Resistance fighter Jean Moulin. Good value for money with very helpful English speaking staff.

we were lucky enough to get a room here when another hotel phoned through for us - all of Macon seemed to be booked! We had two twin rooms - one had an extra put up bed for us. Both rooms were large with a view over the courtyard car park. The lighting was very hi tech . The reception...

We were stopping over in Macon en route to the South and chose this hotel as it was so central. The receptionist was friendly and helpful and the car parking a plus. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was very good.
