This was the best value-for-money-accomodation during our whole stay in the Bretange. Thank you very much, Francoise Cadiou!! We wanted to stay 3 nights and stayed 5. The house is a lovely ancient city house. The room (83) was vast. Interior is old, but spreads an atmosphere of past times. There is a bathroom with direct access from the room....

Mme Cadiou is very welcoming and friendly. Our room didnt have its own ensuite - but the bathroom was for our sole use and the toilet shared with 1 other room. The shower was really good. The facilities were clean and our towels were changed every day - which really was not neccessary. There was also a small kitchen for...

We've been to Roscoff almost a dozen times in the last few years and done it all, from hotels to renting a gite but as a destination for a long week-end break this was absolutely off the scale. We were welcomed like old friends and treated like family - to the extent of being taken out for lunch! Our room...

Eventually managed to stay here and was not disappointed. Mme Francoise Cadiou is a real treasure a wonderful hostess and someone would could spend hours talking with. We were given a very warm welcome, a fabulous breakfast and had to tear ourselves away to catch an early ferry otherwise we had been offered a trip down to the marina to...

I travelled as a foot passenger on the ferry to Roscoff, for my well needed long weekend brake. I was looking for piece and quiet and also for an opportunity to practice my French. For my accommodation I chose La Residence des Perles, rather than an impersonal hotel. I could not have made a better choice I received a very...

Staying here was an almost perfect experience for me, as it encapsulated everything I look for in a stay in France, charming, low budget, authentic, atmospheric , picturesque setting. For this price, you stay in a lovely old house in the ancient centre of Roscoff, steps away from a huge choice of restaurants, shops and the picturesque harbour. Our room,...

To be fair the proprietress was sick and met us in her pajamas. I had not had a confirmation and it was late so I was just happy to know we did in fact have a room. Our joy was short lived. A couple who had spent the night in our room the night before tried to get us to...

My partner and I have just returned from a long weekend break in Roscoff. This trip was turned from being an average weekend away to being an absolutely brilliant and memorable occasion that will stay with us forever. At no point in the whole of our stay with Mme Francoise Cadiou did we feel like customers we were made to...

My wife and I visited Roscoff from September 12 through 14, 2011. After reading through numerous B&B and hotel reviews and websites, we decided on the Residence des Perles. We could not have made a better choice. Located in the heart of Roscoff, the Residence des Perles is surrounded by cafes, restaurants and shops and is within a five minute...

We enjoyed a lovely mini-break here with a kind and generous hostess. The room was comfortable with pretty views and the breakfasts were very good. A peaceful oasis in the very heart of Roscoff, we will certainly be back.

“Room 84 was lovely.”
AKMCornwall, 30 Aug 2014 | Read review
“Be aware that although this residence is delightful in itself, it would not be suitable for anyone physically unfit, or with a young family. You can't park really close by, so if you have lots of stuff that you need to carry, that would be a nuisance.. This is really best for young or independent travellers. Madame Cadiou speaks excellent English, so if you have any concerns before booking, it would be best to speak to her. I am sure she would not mind me saying that. She is a special lady.”
