We can only echo previous comments. Lovely room, great position, wonderful breakfast and very friendly hosts - and all at a very reasonable price. The only downside to our stay (and this has nothing whatsoever to do with Chris or Amanda) was that the couple in the room above us seemed to be rehearsing for a particularly heavy footed episode...

We spent 6 nights in Sarlat and loved this B&B. Chris was the best host and assisted us daily with restaurant reservations, provided great info on the best sites in the Dordogne and always had a smile. Amanda offered to do our laundry - which we did take her up on and we were not charged for this. This place...

A beautiful B & B in Sarlat but the best part of it is the host Chris. A Brit ex-pat that cannot do enough for you and also has the best English sense of humor. The room was huge and quiet. Although on a lovely square never heard traffic due to great sound proof windows. Free parking just a block...

We loved this B&B. The service was excellent. Owner and the Irish lady who was on staff were very personable and helpful. Breakfast was in a very pleasant dining room and was excellent by every measure. We loved being able to look out our window at the beautiful square and Old Town. We were fortunate enough to be there on...

Friends and I stayed for 2 nights in May. We had the entire top floor. The rooms were well decorated and were huge. The location is good to get to the town of Sarlat. Free parking is a couple of blocks away and was fine for our purposes. We enjoyed the excellent breakfast and the snacks. My friends particularly liked...

Really, the best place we stayed in all of France. Chis is great and helped to make the few days we spend in Dordogne the highlight of our trip. I cannot recommend Les Cordeliers highly enough. And they are now opening up a new B and B on the other side of Sarlat and it will have parking!!! i wish...

Just finished a two night stay with Chris and Amanda, and everything was excellent! This was our best B&B stay ever. The room, breakfast, snacks, coffee service, complementary laundry service, and hospitality were all outstanding. We couldn't ask for more!

The rooms here are ENORMOUS and although they don't have a TV you won't miss it because you'll be too busy exploring gorgeous Sarlat! Our room overlooked the pretty square and had comfortable lounge chairs as well as a huge bed and bathroom. There is a kitchenette on the first floor which Chris and Amanda keep well-stocked with chocolates, cookies,...
