We stayed for four nights here from 26th August with our 6 year old. We were located in the older part of the hotel in the Milandes room on the third floor and within the beamed loft area, which was charming and had lots of character. The main bedroom with king size bed was spacious and was located up a... More

The clos la boetie is a good hotel, a solid 4 star with good, clean rooms and very nice bathrooms. We showed up at 3pm and our rooms were still not ready, but the Manager was very nice ( much more than his staff). Their breakfast is quite good ,altough a bit pricey. Location is excellent, a 5mn walk to the... More

We had the pleasure of staying at this lovely hotel with its friendly and helpful staff. They gave us many recommendations for places to visit and restaurants to experience. The room was excellent with a quaint terrace included. This stay was a recommendation from France@Leisure and we could definitely understand the attraction to the area. We look forward to a... More

We have stayed for two nights in this hotel. Overall the impression was quite good. Happy to come again. We have been underwhelmed by the whirlpool. There is a strange parking system. There are a few roads where you can park for free (at least at the time of the year when we were there), but cars were towed away... More

Our travel agent (France @ Leisure) recommended staying here for 4 nights as part of our travel itinerary to the Dordogne region of south-west France. But we were very disappointed with this hotel for the following reasons: Our booking was for a a prestige terrace room. On arrival, we were told the terrace room was taken and were given a... More

Stayed here for 2 nights as their other hotel De Selves could only fit us in for 1 night. They gave us a reduced rate for 2 nights in a suite. Very nice room with large bathroom and all amenities you would need. Comfy bed. Had own sun beds on patio.

This was the 5th hotel we stayed in during a cycling tour of the Dordogne. We had a few places to compare it to and the room scored well; large, modern, great bed and pillows, a few freebees, fluffy towels and a minibar! It was also the first hotel where they provided a kettle and tea and coffee making facilities.... More

The hotel was another place where there was not a normal room. All the rooms were different. In most the Toilet was in one room on one side of the bed and the other side of the bed had the Shower, and two sinks. We were with a group of 16 and although they were aware of this they had... More

I have to admit I was nervous about staying at this hotel after reading previous reviews but thankfully was pleasantly surprised. Pros: The hotel has a lovely intimate feel; and everyone we encountered who worked there were extremely friendly and helpful (contrary to previous comments); the room we stayed in was a good size and had a lovely modern bathroom;...
