We (four adults) stayed at Le Jardin the first week of October, 2016. This was our first time in the Dordogne, and Le Jardin in Sarlat proved to be the perfect, relaxing base from which to explore. Wendy and David are wonderful hosts, and when it came time to leave after a week, it felt like we were leaving family....

For our three weeks in France I had only booked 3 days in Paris and one week in an apartment in Provence, so had 10 days left to figure out. Since it was October I thought we would just kind of "wing it" the rest of the time. I found Le Jardin Sarlat on the Internet just a couple days...

We have recently spent two nights in this delightful b&b, while enjoying a visit to Sarlat with friends. Very welcoming, very quiet, yet very close to the middle of the ancient town. We have no hesitation in recommending this establishment!

We just spent 4 days in this lovely B&B. This 200+ yr old home is located 3-4 blocks from the downtown area of Sarlat, yet is quiet and peaceful because of its garden like setting. The room was well decorated and appointed with everything you could need. The owners, Wendy and David are English which was an enormous help since...

This was certainly the best B&B we have used in France. We received a very warm welcome and stayed in the Montford room which was clean and well decorated with good wardrobe space. We enjoyed the visitors lounge where we could enjoy a drink before going out for dinner. We started with a great breakfast each day and welcomed good...

We don"t normally write on trip advisor but on this occasion felt compelled to. Just spent a week in Le Jardin and cannot really put into words how wonderful it was. From the minute we walked into the house we felt a warmth that became home after just a few moments of talking with David and Wendy. The room was...

We stayed for 2 nights in September, in the Montfort room. I broke my normal rules in two senses - firstly I would usually choose a French-run B&B, to help keep up my French; and secondly I usually don't have breakfast in the B&B if it is additional to the room price, as it is often not very good value;...

I stayed at Le Jardin only for two nights on my way to French wedding in August. And I couldn´t have chosen better place! Le Jardin corresponds to its name. It is a typical stone house surrounded by grown garden which adds to the privacy. There is also a small, lovely pool to plunge into during hot days. The whole...

My husband and I found this B&B on Trip Advisor almost a year ago. The description of the property looked great so we booked it not knowing for sure what we would get. Turned out it was just what we had envisioned and more: just steps from the heart of the charming medieval city of Sarlat, but on a quiet...

Lucky to find this wonderful place through tripadvisor. Booked late so had their cheapest room but was perfect in every aspect. Loved the little attention to detail in the little extras in the room like the emergency box for things you may of forgotten or the tea and coffee making facilities. Felt like a home from home in every sense...
