We considered Sarlat-la-Caneda a stopover on our way from Ile-de-Re to Toulouse for our return to the US. We expected to marvel the beautiful town and gorge on Perigord duck liver pate and the region's wine. And then to rush to Toulouse airport. To our delight, the host of Sarlat Cote Jardin did not allow us to be this efficient....

Just on the edge of the bustling medieval centre of Sarlat, this was a gem of a find. Accommodation is in single storey buildings in the garden of the house, just four of them, with garden space to enjoy. You'd never know you were so close to the town. We've stayed in several hotels in Sarlat and this B &...

I agree with all the positive comments by other reviewers - perfect location, clean, wonderfully helpful owners, safe & secure. The owners have addressed several of the negative comments - there are now tea & coffee making facilities. We travelled at a very busy time & had no problem finding free parking nearby. Breakfast is excellent. The owners do everything...

The most welcoming easy going hostess. The loveliest room (like a chalet) and just a couple of minutes walk from the medieval old town. We selected breakfast and it was lovely - recommended. Overall great value. We will definitely stay here again when we are in Sarlat again!

Charming hospitality and very comfortable room. The bed was super comfortable and the breakfast simple but good value @€9 each. Gave us good recommendations for dinner and were helpful but discreet. Only a few steps from the medieval city, an easy walk for the market and for drinks in the evening. Highly recommended.

This hotel was tucked away - no parking at the hotel, but Place Pasteur is very close and not too expensive to park (though not free, as claimed in the booking.com notes). The rooms were comfortable and had air-conditioning, and the owner was very friendly and helpful, as was her lovely dog Max (friendly, at any rate!). The hotel is...

This property is an annex off the main house in the garden. Spacious modern bedroom and washroom with French doors onto the lovely garden. The location is within easy walking distance to the center of the medieval town. The owners of this B & B are very friendly and helpful. They also serve a nice breakfast. It is a little...

In a touristy town this b'n b is a darling comfortable hideaway. The rooms are separate from the house, very large and excellently outfitted. Ours was at the end of the lovely large garden, private, with a darling terrace on which to enjoy the tranquility. The bathroom is large and light. The bed and bedroom are large and comfortable, also...

Central location with pleasant accommodations. The street, rue du college, does not permit vehicles so you must unload in Place Pasteur and park either in the pay lot in the place or find a free empty spot on the street at the opposite end of the place. Rooms are very clean and the beakfast is very tasty. A great location...
