As other reviewers indicate this is a budget option in the centre of the town. Our bare-bones room was spacious and spotlessly clean, and opened up onto the street below. Great price for what you get, and well worth staying overnight in order to fully appreciate the beautiful atmosphere of this incredibly well preserved town. Many restaurants nearby. Highly recommended....

This is a newly updated hotel and it it great! Easy access to the center of the city and the old city too, friendly staff and large lift. The room they gave us is clean big for a double room and the bathroom is nice and roomy with a shower that is large. There is also wifi in the rooms....

The benefit of staying in this hotel, as others have stated, is the location which is just a few blocks from the old town. Parking is an additional charge and is off-site. The rooms are clean and ours was roomy but I wouldn't call it pleasantly decorated. The hallway has an unsafe feel to it but we never had any...

A clean, comfortable hotel, no luxuries but fine for an overnight stay. Very close to the bustling centre and it does have secure parking a few minutes' walk away which is very useful here. Decent buffet breakfast. No hairdryer. Rooms small but adequate.

Spent two nights at Hotel Les Remparts. Clean room, decent sized bathroom, and well located with supermarket and coffee shop just across the road. Wifi however did not work for 24 hours but when it was up it was fine. This could frustrate some travellers. Hotel offers breakfast if you book in advance but there are many options outside. Just an okay place-- small rooms with small bathrooms. The big plus is it is close to the old town with the fine restaurants and shopping. I would probably rate the at 2&half stars if I could. A market and laundromat are right around the corner- another plus

This hotel is a great value in Sarlat and in a perfect location -- you can walk anywhere and on Saturday the market is right outside your door! Rooms are clean and comfortable but quite simple. Bathrooms are clean and simple too, but fine. I would highly recommend it.

Small hotel situated close to the medieval part of Sarlat. A bit "Plasticky" but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was basic.. BUT..The Highpoint was the kind gentleman who was behind reception who helped us with suggestions of where to get for dinner etc...which was VERY kind.

The room and bath were larger than most 2 star and the bath features were better than many French 3 star hotels. The room lacked character and was starkly furnished. Nevertheless, we slept well during our two-night stay but spent very little time in the hotel.
