Some members of staff were helpful and pleasant but others were not. Waited 20 minutes to get a drink from the bar while staff sat at a table around the corner. Staff parked in prime spot next to the front entrance indicating that customer service...More

Good, clean, efficient. Just what you would expect and hope for from a big chain hotel. Room was comfortable but over warm (you can't increase the air conditioning). Breakfast included a good choice of buffet items - hot and cold. Lots of parking. Nice swimming...More
We have stayed at many Novotel hotels in the past, mainly as stopovers en route to Italy/France and this hotel is pretty much the standard you would expect. The reason for the poor rating was due to the service I felt we were given on...More

I've stayed there lots of times and if the hotel is busy (school holiday times) then the ground-floor rooms nearest the public areas will be noisiest because of children thundering up and down the corridors. The surrounding area of the hotel isn't particularly noisy (just a bit of faint traffic sound which isn't particularly bad) so I'd say the quietest rooms are the top-floor ones furthest away from the reception and bar etc, so you won't have lots of people passing your room to get to theirs. Those would be rooms with high numbers.
