Central location, in the historic (pedestrian) center of the village, 5 minutes walk from the main square and restaurants. Each room has a different setting (jungle, industrial, etc). Varied and rich breakfast in the lounge on the third floor. The only flaw: the bathroom is not 'up to the finishes of the complex and the rooms. It would be enough to replace the taps and paint the white tiles.

La Maison is getting some pessimistic reviews so let me state that our stay here was fine: the staff were welcoming, the rooms clean, and the breakfast one of the most generous I have had for some time. Beds comfy and the rooms a sensible temperature. Yes its an "old" (80s?) hotel that has had a fun and inventive makeover - a relaxed place to stay that is a total cut above the chain experience. It could not be better situated for tourists (unless perhaps you walk from the station with heavy luggage) and the car park is directly underneath. A bit tight - drive slowly - but that is normal for city car parks, and cheap by big city standards: just follow the directions and all will be well. The current extensive roadworks in Mulhouse are to the south of this and will presumably disappear eventually. We enjoyed staying here: comfy bed, perfectly clean, the furniture rather basic but who sits about examining hotel furniture?

I stayed there for one night in late September and if I return to Mulhouse I would definitely stay there again. Perfect location to visit the city, it is 50 meters from the cathedral and 20 meters from the access to the Marèchal parking lot, which has very honest prices for one night. Very good breakfast, very kind staff, my 2 dogs were welcome and did not pay any supplement! In fact, at check in they wanted to give me some kibble for them! The room was not like the ones in the picture, it was simple, but I guess it was given to me for the presence of the dogs. I have already recommended orally the structure to friends, also because the price is very competitive

Good value with a number of things lacking that could be easily fixed

Great location in centre of town, parking alongside, great eclectic art house foyers. Good staff. Roomy room with two comfortable chairs. Decent water pressure. Quite good breakfasts. Overall good value for the price point.

Suggest the owners up the tariff slightly and fix all the little things . . .

No toaster in breakfast room
Room
No soap of any description on hand basin
No lights except reading lights by the bed
Smallish bed
Small TV (no English channels)
No room fridge
Air conditioning makes an annoying noise revert 15 minutes or so

We had a standard room, room 301. The carpet was completely dirty, a bedside table board was broken, only the brackets were there, the wallpaper was dirty, the doors were scratched, and the bathroom was moldy. The garbage collectors came at 6:00 a.m. and the church bells rang at 6:30 a.m. The room was very loud. There were always rolls missing from the breakfast table. One day our room wasn't cleaned at all. I don't understand the positive reviews. Maybe the superior rooms are better. Room 301 and room service were poor.

We had a Wonderbox and wanted to come and stay and visit the area. Knowing that the “Wonderbox” was for two people, we asked for an offer for the extra charge of a 4 year old. They thought we were mad and replied that all the triple rooms were already booked and that no arrangements could be made for the “Wonderbox” (even if we paid an extra fee). Looking at several Reservation Platforms, we found that there were still enough triple rooms available on the requested dates. Screen shot to support it, they answer me “yes, it’s right, we still have triple rooms available” (as if by chance), and dare to write to us that the dates we had communicated were not the right ones and add again, that they were not entering into discussion to use the “Wonderbox” or for an extra! Not only, not very commercial, but also dishonest! If an institution doesn’t want to play along with this kind of promotion, it’s best not to sign up. I’m curious about the answer and the review of Wonderbox! Another Pension, not far from the latter, offered us 10 euros extra for a 4 year old child! Like what, there are still people in France who want to work and showcase the hospitality of a region!

I booked a suite (3 nights) as well as 2 double loft rooms (2 nights) for my wedding. First of all, the hotel is extremely well located, right in the center with lots of nice restaurants nearby and public parking allowing direct access to the hotel (€28 for 3 days). The common areas as well as the rooms are very well decorated, vintage with recycling products. The suite was perfect, just missing a small balcony (to quibble). Friends who had one of the 2 double loft rooms were so lucky. As the weather was good, they took advantage of it. The very spacious 2nd loft bedroom, however, was in a very sunny corner. It was therefore warmer there than in the other rooms. The bedding was very comfortable. The breakfast room was also very nice. Lots of choice but I find it a shame that they serve soft industrial bread rather than a good traditional baguette. Unfortunately, this is now done in many hotels, even 3* ones. In any case, I highly recommend this hotel.

It is perfectly located in the center, the decor of the hotel at the entrance worthy of visiting, but the good ends there.
The room they gave us very old, not at all looks like the rooms that appear in the advertising of the hotel and the bathroom of 100 years ago, to top it off it was horrible cold in the room and there were not even blankets or Nordic to cover you.
The breakfast, horrible, the room in which it is, just as cold as the room, is very nicely decorated, but the dirty and old dishes, make an impossible tea, all the accessories to make it were rusty, to make you an orange juice, there were three manual juicers all full of orange remains that no one cleaned. It was all very dirty.
In short the great location, but I do not recommend it to anyone, I do not know if there is any hotel that is also close to the center but certainly this is not recommended

Very good hotel in the center and at this time incredibly decorated for the Christmas period, at first impression it looks like a Christmas decoration shop! Very friendly staff, great room and very particular, breakfast on the third floor in a superlative and Christmas very complete with sweet and savory with lots of fresh food kept in three large refrigerators and fruit for hand-squeezed juice in addition to juices in the refrigerators with cold cuts and yogurt! On a table a great choice of cakes and croissants. indefinitely a great hotel convenient for visiting the center of Mulhouse and to reach the train station! The only flaw that I point out, so one point less, the rooms (room and large room for breakfast) are too cold and since in this period it is already very cold outside guests would need to warm up more inside the hotel! However recommended hotel, especially during the Christmas decoration period!

We have just stayed in the hotel “la maison” and we are very satisfied with our stay. The hotel is located in the city center. The welcome is warm as is the departure. The staff are charming. The rooms are decorated with great taste. We chose a suite. It was very good for a very affordable price. Breakfast is varied. The car park (which is not part of the hotel) allows you to arrive directly at the hotel reception via the elevator and is very reasonably priced.
A very big thank you for the attention during our arrival
I highly recommend this hotel.
