Room was OK, breakfast was awful so we did not bother with the restaurant as there are so many others in and around Guebwiller. Reception staff are not particularly pleasant. The view from the terrace over the lake is very nice.

I Imagine this hotel might have been described as "cool", "chic" or "classy" some years ago, but it leaves a lot to be desired. Every evening we were happy to come back to quiet surroundings after having spent the day with tourists all around us. The hotel is just past the past...

Shower cubical entrance very narrow not at all suitable for a large person! Both entrances to hotel had steps so not friendly for people with mobility probelms. No one at reception so had...

Smaller room, but perfect for two. (I have two small children and it was a tight squeeze). Everything is very modern, including the decor. A bit minimalistic as far as amenities, but it had a nice TV and free wireless internet. We stayed two nights over Valentine's weekend. The restaurant on the first floor is very nice, and quite expensive....

We were touring in the Alsace wine region when one of my party got a migraine which meant we needed to stop for a night pretty soon. Spoke to a local wine maker who recommended a couple of other ones but as an after thought said this was new. On the spur we phoned and found the staff spoke good...
