We stayed 5 nights and had a great time. The common areas are beautiful and the terrace is the most perfect spot of Propriano (cool breeze and access to the water). PROS: - Beach access - Amazing views - Friendly staff - Walking distance to many restaurants - Strong A/C CONS: - Tiny, old rooms (not suitable for families) - No restaurants (no full menu, just overpriced tapa style) - No wifi in the rooms or terrace (seems to only work in the lobby) So if you're a couple or traveling alone planning to spend most of your time outside of the room, then this is a great place. But not really suitable for a family (though a baby crib is provided there is not much space). 18e breakfast, which we didn't have (the spread looks good though) A good place to have drinks or a glass of wine on the terrace…

Very small hotel with cramped accomodation. Has a spectacular location but the shape of the bay means every noise from the village (a very loud tourist centre till all hours of the morning) is gathered into the rooms facing the town. No A/C and very very hot stifling bedroom with tiny windows. Restaurant food is described as eclectic at best. Very bad standard of menu with little choice. You either have seafood or nothing. Neither the rate nor the food bills are cheap and the locally produced wine (Le Barbu) is grossly over charged here. I would not recommend this place which is a great shame given the attractions of Corsica and indeed this Southern area of Corsica are so great. Overall go to Corsica and even Propriano (if you like to be around teenagers who lie around sleeping all day and make a racket all night) but stay and/or eat elsewhere.…

Very nice hotel on the beach in Propriano, which is a great place to discover south Corsica. The room was nice and comfortable, even if basic and simple. The terrace we had on the sandy beach was a lovely place to unwind after a day of sunshine or walking. Everything was working properly, aircon, shower, etc. The restaurant (breakfast and dinner) also serves great food and the location (you're basically over the sea) is fantastic. We absolutely loved it. The only point I feel worth mentioning is that it could get loud in the summer (the family occupying the room next to us was extremely loud at all times of day and night and we could hear everything). Apart from this, we absolutely recommand the hotel...

Le Lido is a very small hotel with restaurant. We didn't use the restaurant so cannot comment on it except to say that it offered little or nothing in the way of vegetarian food (which is why we didn't use it). The rooms are all on the ground floor round a beautiful courtyard. The 'back' of most of the rooms exit, via small terraces, directly onto a large, coarsely sandy beach. The front of the hotel faces a smaller beach, the remainder of the building dropping staight into the crystal waters. My favourite moment was seeing a large cuttlefish trundling by in the shallows whilst we had our breakfast. Propiano town itself is small and not grand, with a dozen or so restaurants, many offering local seafood, it also has a modest ferry terminal. The beaches are public so it gets busy around the hotel during the day, but is wonderfully peaceful in the morning. …
