We stayed as a couple for the second time. Beautiful setting, quaint & relaxing. Nice sign at door welcoming us. The only disappointing thing was the cooked breakfast which was luke warm @ the best, served on a cold plate. I feel a hot breakfast should be at least served on warm plates. Aside from that a very enjoyable stay,...

Had the most amazing time. The train carriages are delightfully decked out and comfy (water pressure also fabulous) and my friend and I spent hours just hanging out in front of the fireplace. Amazing views, beautiful hosts who provided breakfast each morning - thank you D&J for being willing to cater for this vegan 🤗 Absolutely 5/5 will stay again...

We loved our stay here. David and Jenny were fantastic hosts. The carriages were very comfortable and our boys had lots of fun "catching the train". The property itself is beautiful - highlights were seeing lots of kangaroos and going blackberry picking. It's an easy drive into Canberra - only 30 minutes to the centre of town - but it...

We are a family of four, with teenagers. We were informed that the single beds were singles. We had placed for the teens to share the double and adults on singles. The tram single was small in size and the other single was small as well. It was not a comfortable night sleep. I loved that the boys could use...

We visited here for 3 relaxing nights. It's really out of the way but easily accessed from the Barton Highway. Close enough to Canberra to visit any attractions. We visited the pub near Cockington Green, the National Zoo and the movies. It was amazingly quiet with birds and wallabies our only companions. The carriage we had was very comfy although...

This was our second visit here and it was just as wonderful as the first time. We had the same train carriage as before and our friend loved her 'Jayne Mansfield' inspired decor in hers. We loved the quietness and being able to see so many kangaroos close up was amazing. Jenny and David were wonderful hosts, breakfast was yummy...

We recently stayed at Carriage 4388 and loved the whole experience. Just a short drive out of Canberra, yet it felt like a world away! Not only are you in the peace and quiet of the country side, but the train carriages are full of character and just so different to anything else. The owners have done an amazing job...

Would definitely recommend staying here if you're after something different breakfast the next morning was great!

David and Jenny are amazing hosts right from the start of correspondence to the farewell. The train carriages are an absolute delight and the breakfast space is a curious adventure. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience of staying at Last Stop, made even more special by watching the sunset over antipasto and wine followed by retiring to the seated area in...

My partner and I stayed here for our 6th anniversary in October 2014. We had carriage 4786 and highly recommend it, although the other train carriage (next door) looked equally lovely. I'm sure the tram is nice too but we didn't look. We had everything we needed - air conditioning (I imagine it can get very hot without air con...
