Rawla Bisalpur today, stands tall and exudes grandeur and mystery that is peerless. The present palace juts out of a hill in the Aravalis’ and was restructured in the 17th Century, with further modernisation taking place in 1938. The palace is a classic example of Indo-European architecture. The former Marwari horse stables are just around the corner. A quiet break in Rajasthan’s countryside, driving around sighting leopards, sitting in the evenings with a burra peg, cooking with the First Lady of the palace or meeting the chief of the Rabari Shepherd’s - The Rawla awaits. With quintessential Rajput hospitality on hand, Rawla Bisalpur is sure to leave you enthralled. We welcome you to our home, your home - in Rajasthan, located in the heart of Jawai Bandh, a comfortable connection between Jodhpur and Udaipur.
We spent two nights at Rawla Bisalpur and wish we had stayed longer. It was the perfect balance of relaxation in a beautiful setting combined with adventure exploring the beautiful landscape and searching for leopards. We were lucky enough to have a leopard sighting. The food was delicious and the rooms and common areas are lovely. What really makes this place special though is the warm hospitality of the two brothers who have opened their beautiful home to guests. It is worth extending a stay in Rajasthan to make time for a visit to Rawla Bisalpur.

We enjoyed our stay at Rawla Bisalpur. We had been looking for some time for a place to stay in from where we could take a safari to the hills of Jawai. Rawla Bisalpur was perfect. Located in Bisalpur one has to approach it through the narrow lanes of the village. When you drive in through the ancient doorway you enter a peaceful, green oasis and are immediately struck by the brilliant yellow flowers of the tecoma tree. The welcome is warm by Veer Singh one of the two brothers who are very carefully preserving their heritage. We stayed in the rooms in the relatively newer building (built in 1938) while the older portions of the haveli (450 years old) are being painstakingly restored by the family. The rooms are large and very comfortable. The beds are really comfortable and wonderful to sleep in. The hills of Jawasi loom large just behind the haveli. The package also includes one safari per day which is normally the evening safari when one drives out to the Jawai bandh and has a lovely bush tea while parked on the boulders overlooking the waters. The very first evening even as we where just getting ready to unpack we were told there was a sighting nearby and Veer rushed us off in their safari jeep to the nearby wooded area to spot the leopard. It was our first introduction to the unique, peaceful coexistence of man and leopard. The food at the Rawla is authentic Rajasthani and it is delicious. Very lovingly served even as the hosts hover to make sure you get everything you need. The brothers, Veer Vinod and Paramveer take every care to ensure you are comfortable and have everything you need. The care and attention the brothers are giving to the restoration and making sure that the heritage home retains its authenticity while having all the modern conveniences is impressive. I would strongly recommend a stay in Rawla Bisalpur when you visit Jawai.…

Away from the busy city’s hustle and bustle we spent our new year in between the beautiful Aravali hills in Jawai Bandh! We stayed with the village’s thakurs Veer and Param in their luxurious homestay @rawla_bisalpur and had one of our best experience! The leopard safari’s were one of the kind, We discovered breathtaking landscapes of Aravali Hills and had the chance to see a leopard going out of its cave and walking through the hills, we waited for it to wake up from the sleep and witnessed the real hunt! I was really amazed to know that Aravalli Range is arguably the oldest geological feature on Earth, having its origin in the Proterozoic era. It was a very different experience to stay in this property with everything being taken care by the property owners themselves. The rooms, food, safari, evening tea n snacks on top of the Aravalli hills, a real farm picnic, new year folk songs, born fire and tasty food! Everything was perfect!…

there are many reasons to come to Pali, but the first is to meet our hosts, two extraordinary brothers! words fail us to explain these few days spent here. What a feeling of peace and calm when we arrived after the agitation of the cities. A very warm welcome that made us feel at home. A taste for detail that cannot leave anyone indifferent. The beauty of the place, the cleanliness of the rooms and the delicious food won us over. An unforgettable meeting with these two brothers whose passion is naturally felt. What an experience to go on safari to discover leopards and indescribable landscapes and all that away from tourists. What warm moments spent by the fire to discuss for hours with our hosts. In short an unforgettable stay that will remain engraved in our memories. these words are written with the heart…

Far from the bustle of towns, Rawla Bisalpur is a peaceful heaven. We had the chance to spend 2 days in this wonderful place where we discovered beautiful landscapes and (cherry on the cake) saw a leopard. We appreciated every detail : welcome drink (eau à la rose), delicious meals, massala tea during the safari (one of the best that we had in India), bathrobe so comfortable, and a special mention for the ylang-ylang body lotion. Thank you to our hosts for their kindness and their hospitality

Had an absolute ball! While the prospect of staying at a heritage site is already very enticing, the hosts managed to go above and beyond our expectations to make sure that our time in Jawai was nothing short of memorable. The rooms were quite luxurious and the food served was deliciously authentic. The safaris were incredible as well. Besides the successful leopard spottings. we were taken through the most picturesque routes and even had a bit of a lakeside tea break that let us appreciate the sheer beauty of our surroundings. All these things, alongside the unmatched hospitality, made for a very enriching and wholesome experience that left in good taste, even wanting for more. Thank you for having us!

Excellent property.Located in village Bisalpur, it has an old world charm to it. Elegant ,spacious, spotlessly clean rooms, and personal touches like old family photographs add to the charm . The 2 Brothers, Paramveer and veer were always there for guests ensuring the stay was comfortable and accompanying the guests on safaries. The surrounding countryside is stunning and chances of sighting leopards and crocodiles is good. Great place for birdwatchers too Being a new property , they still need to sort out a few things regarding food but I am sure with experience they will learn to cater to different tastes and requirments. The Rajasthani dishes were delicious .
