Our last day and night of our European tour was a 'something special' treat for our family. I booked the Castle Suite, expecting luxury, space and a bit more. We were not disappointed and far exceeded my expectations. Let me start by stating that this hotel and grounds are a golfer's paradise, green fees are a bit pricey at about...

Spent an evening at the Chateau and it is an impressive looking hotel for sure. The customer service was very good and they went out of their way to accommodate and facilitate our stay. The lady working in the breakfast and lunch area in the basement of the chateau was very kind and spoke perfect English to us, she was...

Stayed here for three nights as part of a Porsche Rallye in the area. The building is stunning with many quirky features. The golf course looked challenging but I am not a player. Lunch outdoors followed by a snooze at the pool - idyllic. Staff extremely helpful and rooms large and very comfortable. Not sure about the metal bedside tables...

In the heart of Burgundy, this former manor house is quite an interesting hotel. Very attractive outer appearance. The rooms are spacious, only the closet is kind of strange as the built-in fridge makes the closet kind of warm and the clothes partition is very small. Internet connection with fluctuating quality, sometimes there was no connection at all. Excellent bathroom,...

A Chateau with a golf course - what a wonderful idea and a luxury toy for a rich Japanese business man. Once you visit however, you recognizer that this hotel is not managed professionally by a hotel chain. There are a number of shortcomings: Poor Wifi, late serviced rooms (after 5 p.m.), not replenished amenities, tea and coffee making facilities...

On review this seems an ideal location and in many ways it is. It is located in a beautiful part of France with glorious surrounding countryside with lovely hilltop ancient villages, It has easy access from the A6 motorway and the Canal de Bourgoine runs nearby. The Chateau is surrounded by a beautiful and challenging golf course with super fast...

Not worth the price. Old rooms dating back to the 90s. Poor wifi. We had no light in our rooms and nobody seemed to worry about fixing it. At check-out nobody apologized. There's a lot of nicer places in the area! For people who like to golf it might be okay though.

Excellent hotel in a lovely area of France. Staff are very helpful and food was excellent. The golf course is testing and a good challenge for all levels of golfers. There are lots of towns near enough to visit and offering many different styles of restaurants from cheap to expensive.

It was the second time we stayed at Chateau de Chailly with our family of four in adjoining rooms (20/21 to be precise) for four nights. We had the impression to be the only guests at least two or three of these nights. We love the quiet that results. Of course the hotel is pretty much oriented towards the golf...
