Stayed in this area for two nights. The room was very nice and was a two room suite (a living room and a bedroom). Wifi was included abs we had a very nice view of the fjord. The accommodation was not spectacular but for where we were, we were pleased. The staff was very nice and helpful. The restaurant attached...

We did not actually stay at Gudvangen Fjordtell, but visited Gudvangen for a few hours. With the large windows we could see that the hotel rooms look like fun with their Viking themed rooms and looked clean. The small town itself would be a great place to base yourself with all the attractions around.

Did NIN on our own from Oslo and returned to Oslo. From Fram took shuttle to viewpoint and then Gudvangen. Stayed in a Viking room. $116 for the night. Big room, large bathroom. Free breakfast. Fjord boat next morning to Flam and then trains back to Oslo. Gudvangen is beautiful. Read the reviews. It is not the Ritz. But if...

Stayed here for one night prior to going over on the ferry. We had a Viking themed room which was fine. It was clean, comfortable with coffee making facilities provided. This is a log cabin so don't expect hotel luxury but it did have a hair dryer and the breakfast was good to. Evening meal was okay to.

Tiny room and massive price! Breakfast was good. Room was clean. Nice location right next to the ferry terminal. Wifi would not work. Staff got annoyed when I asked about it, they blamed me and said I was not working my device properly. Others staying with were unable to access wifi also. The staff did not speak Norwegian, and their...

The "Double Room with Viking theme" is fun. Comfortable room with great view of fiord cliff waterfalls through the large skylight in room 3 with the only drawback being that there is no sunshade on the skylight. Had great dinner with salmon and cauliflower puree. Was never able to connect wifi to iPhone. Joker store/supermarket is adjacent. This is not...

Small room with animal skin as decorative blanket Expensive restaurant to go with WiFi service that does not work in the room but does in the restaurant. The rooms were a bit rank from humidity. The view is unlike any other you can get anywhere.

They should learn what hospitality is !! Never ever seen such rude , badly behaved staff . They bank on the fact that the place is beautiful- (not that the rooms are extremely luxurious )or they wouldn't stand a chance in hell ... Will never recommend that anyone stays here . Carry on to Voss instead

It was exactly what we needed in terms of location. The rooms are very basic but clean and quiet. The restaurant catered for me being gluten free and vegan, in the evening, which I was impressed with. The breakfast was great and served til 10am which was great as we needed a lie in!

We went for the more rustic appeal of these rooms with no TV and few bells and whistles, like no toiletries and average pillows. The views around the hotel are very impressive, with the bay and mountains and waterfalls. The view from the overhead windows in the rooms is also spectacular, though better had it not rained. But the overhead...
