What a hidden gem. They've made it a magical jungle retreat. The pool views are hard to process as real, as are the monkey bar views (we took countless photos and fell silent looking out). Great food at the bar, and the staff everywhere were super lovely. The taxi drivers in particular were so accommodating, stopping at a shop along the way, advising us on the best things to do in the local villages. We definitely stay for a few more nights. MAGICAL.

I mean WAHOU! It was sensational.
Perched in the middle of a coconut forest, the hotel opens its doors to a breathtaking view.
The staff, who speak impeccable English, welcome you warmly, are friendly and attentive.

I had the chance to stay in the villa with private pool (so I had three available: the one from the hotel, the Monkey Bar, and mine) and I was impressed by its size and beauty.
Everything was there. I was given vouchers for two breakfasts and massages of your choice of 30 minutes. Two Bintang were waiting for me in the cool and I had plenty of water. The wifi and air conditioning were great.
I wish I never got out of my pool.
However, I loved showering under the coconut trees in the sumptuous open bathroom. Everything I could have needed was in the bathroom.
I finally tried the largest pool, where I simply had the feeling of swimming in the sky, surrounded by dragonflies.

Huge plus: the Monkey Bar.
I enjoyed myself, each dish delighted me and I had my favorite breakfast in Bali (big thanks to the staff).
I took both options, delivery and on site. The view is impressive, over the forest and the ocean. Behind the swimming pool you will find a lovely wooden path leading to a promontory overlooking the whole area. I totally recommend!

What I came to look for, the total isolation, may be what some people will not like.
It's a very small minus, but I would have liked to be able to turn off the jet of my private pool to fully enjoy the sounds of the forest.

We stayed for one night here as a last minute thing before we got a boat over to Gilli T and WOW. This place was astounding! the most beautiful place to stay! The photos do not do it justice. We got picked up from the airport which made it so easy as the airport at densapar can be manic. Then an hour and a bit car journey and we were there. The rooms we spacious and very clean. The beds were very comfortable and we used a bed settee as well for my son and that was also so comfortable. The staff were incredible and very accommodating. We stayed in the room with your own infinity pool and again WOW. Anything we asked for they were so happy to help. Such a unique find! The monkey bar had insane cocktails and food at a really good price. We were gutted we only booked this place for one night and an absolute must while in Bali. Even if only for one night. it was the most surreal experience and you will never see any sights quite like it! I am recommending this to everyone I know. Thank you Bella Kita for such a beautiful resort and a memory my family will never forget :)

During my stays in Bella Kita Resort, there was a big wasp hidden in the high ceiling of the bathroom. I did not notice it until the last night of my stays past midnight.
The room is far too big for a solo traveler. The room has very basic amenities, considered this resort is luxury staged. It is a ripped off staying at this luxury resort with only the shampoo and towels amenities provided. The room has no vanity table or even a writing table.
Besides cycling, there are no further activities having the resort located in a remote complex location. You can't go anywhere without pre-arranged taxi that are more expensive charged by the resort.
The SPA is poorly managed and the SPA staffs require more training not even knowing what is deep tissue therapy massage is?

There is only one restaurant with lovely view but the staff service is ordinary.

With such high room rate, you can find a better lovely accommodation elsewhere.

This is a truly amazing resort. I have visited the Monkey Bar before & wanted to stay in the villas. Villa 5 was beautiful. Huge bedroom, outside bathroom, kitchenette & large outside seating area. Meals are at the nearby Monkey Bar where there is also a very nice spa area. The massage was great and there is a complimentary treatment of 30 mins if you are staying in the villas. The manager & staff were lovely and staff at Monkey Bar also couldn’t have been more obliging. Nothing is too much trouble. Would definitely stay again

We came here from first visiting Canggu and Ubud. Our experience of Bali before this was wonderful! At this place, however, I felt like all that I was seen as was what I could offer in terms of money. It wasn’t a wonderful experience and I’m the future I would be sure to not visit here again.

Gorgeous villas (mine was 101), with great views.

The only reason I would restrict staying to one night are the geckos. Big ones that scurry around consuming the huge flying insects.
While the real jungle provides life lessons on the corporate jungle, I did shriek a fair bit before the lessons dawned in.

Sneaky behaviour of the receptionist to withhold change, & then to shortchange, on the cash paid for the stay.

I want to keep this place as my secret but have to share!!! If you want to get away from the hustle of Kuta and spend some quiet down time, this is the place for you. 6 amazing villas are waiting here for you, all private and with the most stunning views of the jungle or out to the beach. We stayed in Villa 1 which is at the top of the resort, Super King bed and 2 sofa beds, a long veranda with views of both the jungle and the ocean/beach over the mountains. Private outdoor bathroom. A few steps down from the villa you are at the resort pool, an infinity pool no less surrounded by palm trees and blue skies. A short walk up the road and you arrive at The Monkey Bar where you are served the most amazing meals (vouchers provided 150,000Rp per room/per day) with the most stunning views. As the Monkey Bar is the only restaurant in this location food and drinks are a bit more expensive than you would pay in Kuta but still reasonable, but the upside is the food is delicious and very well presented.

There is also a spa at the restaurant which offers massages and manicure/pedicures. A one hour massage for 100k Rp, great value and the surrounds are so peaceful.

We also had the pleasure of attending the school on Sunday morning to help out. We served the kids breakfast, helped set up the tables and just spent time with these beautiful children and helped them with learning English. The kids are a delight and thanked us with singing and dancing. It makes you feel so humble to be able to give something back to this community. We made a small donation but in the past we have taken over stationery which has been very much appreciated.

Do your self a favour and spend a few days here. Peace, quiet and tranquility and the most amazing ever changing scenery. We had rain and sunshine and still had a fantastic time. Cannot wait to return again.

Let’s start from the start. Bella Kita and The Monkey Bar are two different places albeit just a few meters apart. This review is only about Bella Kita.Villas are numbered 1-6 with 1 at the top and 6 down the bottom. Number 4 is kind of underneath #3. We had 3,4 and 5 , the best view was probably from villa 3 but nothing wrong with the rest. Each villa has a semi open shower that looks straight in to the jungle. Villa 6 has its own pool that is partially overlook from villa 5. Our villas were spacious, neat and very comfortable. I would highly recommend a visit. The main infinity pool has plenty of room for the amount of guests. Bella Kita does not have its own bar, you can order food and drinks from Monkey bar up the hill and they will bring it down. There is not much around so bring any snacks or drinks that you might want while sitting around the pool or later on at night

From initial contact to last day everything went smooth and hassle free.
Pick up was in a small mini bus which was there waiting with our names on a sign as promised. The mini bus was clean, well maintained and with a great driver, Nyoman.

Once at the resort our bags were taken to the room while we went for our evening meal, the restaurant closes at 20:00 but they kept it open a little later for us as we arrived late...
In the morning we asked to rent a scooter but it seemed like they didn't want us to use one, after asking to be taken to Padangbai to go rent one we then were able to rent a scooter. I think they are reluctant to rent a scooter because the mountain is quite steep and can be quite tricky to navigate if you are not confident at riding motobikes. Driving through the villages was a delight, all the village prople are super friendly, you cant drive through without saying "hi" or "morning" to less than 90% of them, they are so friendly and so lovely which is a world away from the cash orinted people of built up places like Kuta..
There are no shops like indomart or alfamart clise by so the scooter will help you get to these places.

We stayed in Villa Vanilla for 9 nights, the villa is clean, spacious and has a great jungle feel as its so close to the forest. This villa comes with a small kitchen which is great for longer stays if you are missing your own favourite cuisine. The kitchen is equipped with cutlery, crocker, a kettle plus a small fridge. The bathroom is open to the forest with no chance of anyone seeing you so has a great outdoor vibe with privacy to! The room has a TV and sofa to if you like to watch TV, we never even turned on the TV but it was there if required.
The room is ADc and also fan cooled so depending on what climate you like when sleeping you have a choice. Room also had a safe for valuables.
Room had all towels we needed, everyday it was cleaned spotlessly with a replacement of 2 small bottles of water.
The rooms are totally quiet with no noise from bikes/cars or planes, the only sounds you will hear are from insects, birds, chickens and the occasional dog

The grounds are beautiful with many different trees, shrubs and flowers meaning there is plenty of wildlife to see from the small lizards to the house gekos to beautiful birds in the forest. There is an infinity pool which has spectacular views over the forest and villages towards the sea, absolutely beautiful! As you would expect, yet again the pool and areas are all kept clean and well maintained. There is public shower area at the pool to wash yourself down after a dip in the pool.

A taxi driver is only a phone call away for any excursion requests, Nyoman is fantastically honest with his word being his word! If you say a time he is 30mins or more early!!

All staff were super friendly, helpfull and tried their best to make your time at Bella as stress free as possible. Some of the staff dont speak great english but they still try to understand and help where possible.
We were there while the villages had the 3 yearly ceremonies. Bella kita invited all staff to the ceremony from their village and even provided everyone who wanted to go appropriate traditional Bali dress so as to not offend anyone.

Im sure There are more things I have missed but there was so much good with this place its so hard to try and be detailed..
Overall Bella kita is an amazingly quite and stress free place to stay in Klungkung and comes highly recommended!!
