We stopped here after a long walk with our dogs. We were all made very welcome. I require a gluten free diet when we asked about this the landlord could not have been more helpful. They even stock gluten free rolls and pasta. The food was amazing and the service was excellent. Beautiful garden which kids enjoyed. When we are...

If you thinking about staying at the Foresters, think no longer, book now. Ray is an extraordinary host, making you feel truly welcome. He has travelled the world and understands what makes a great place to stay. The pub, a listed building, has just been very carefully restored and beautifully decorated. The food is really home-made and delicious - the...

A beautiful country pub and garden nestled at the foot of the South Downs. The young waiting/bar staff are all very friendly and helpful. 9 of us stayed for lunch after a walk and we all agreed the food was first class. You can tell the chef has a real passion for good food, and it was great that he...

This place reopened under new ownership about 3 months ago. Went for lunch. I mentioned I mainly eat fish and the chef cooked me a brilliant scallop dish "off menu". The chef is Italian from south of Naples and the menu has an Italian slant to it. All the staff - the bar and waiting staff, the chef, and the...

We stayed at the Foresters Arms recently and found the staff incredibly welcoming who did everything to make our brief stay most enjoyable, even squeezing in a meal for a friend who joined us at the last minute. Lovely food and a great atmosphere. Because we had a very early start before breakfast we were left a take-away to go...

We have been booking customers of our Walking and Cycling holidays into the Foresters Arms for several years now. Graffham is a tiny village in a beautiful location at the foot of the South Downs hills and surrounded by nature reserves. It's a perfect area for walkers and a great base for cyclists who want to explore the many bridleways...

A good place to stay for a weekend away in the South Downs. Very welcoming and attentive staff. The food was excellent, both for dinner and breakfast the following morning. The beer and wine were of very good quality, and the coconut ice cream was delicious. If you are visiting the area, or walking on the South Downs Way, then...

Well once again we stayed at the Foresters and found it relaxing and extremely pleasant. We were eating in the bar and were listening (unintentionally) to some local people that by all accounts lived in the village itself. I thought how rude their conversation was about this lovely place and the staff!.I was shocked at how the locals treated the...

We liked the look on google and need a place to stay for a September wedding . We went for lunch and found well kept beer on draught and lovely fresh food. The owners are really attentive and I would say relax as they've got it just right ! The huge fireplace is used when chilly . We are looking...
