My husband and I spent 3 nights at Glenurquhart House Hotel and were made to feel very welcome. The hotel was really easy to find and well sign posted from the main road, which was great when we arrived in the pitch black! Our room, number 4, had a beautiful view and we thought the little extras such as the...

My husband and I booked this hotel after reading the reviews. We were very disappointed indeed. Our room was totally different to the pictures on the webiste. We were given a family room which was not the superior double we were expecting. The room was in desparate need of modernisation and did not look at all like the photos on...

We stayed here as we found a very good deal through living social, two nights B&B with dinner on one evening, afternoon tea and a boat trip. Our first impression was the remote location, however this meant a very peaceful stay and it wasn't so remote as to be an inconvenience in any way. The hotel as we drove up...

We visited this hotel in July 2011. My partner picked this hotel for a base to visit Loch Ness, we wished to have a central base but did not want to be in the hustle and bustle of the towns such as inverness or St Augustus. This hotel is just a couple of miles from Loch Ness in Balnain which...

We stayed here for the weekend on a package deal which included dinner, afternoon tea and a boat trip. We found the hotel absolutely lovely, the room was a really good size with fabulous views over the loch, and the staff couldn't have been more freindly. There is a little bar area with a real fire which makes it feel...

I booked this as a birthday present for my hill walker boyfriend through LivingSocial deal and this was the best decision I have made in 2012 so far. We couldn't have asked for more from the accommodation, food and welcome we received. Room 5 cosy, comfortable and overlooking Loch Meikle, whirlpool bath an unexpected but very welcome treat after a...

I booked the Glenurquhart on a LivingSocial deal that provided a double room for 2 nights, breakfast both mornings, afternoon tea and evening meal the night we arrived and a boat trip on our full day. The deal we got (£150 all in) was well worth the money, especially considering the extras we got of dinner and boat trip. I'm...

We stayed here with a Living Social 2 night package and it was delightful. The hotel is in a 1935 building and you can have fun looking at the original features which poke from the palimpsest of later architecture from time to time. The room was large, comfortable and warmed up nicely. The pre-booking information said that the rooms were...
