The Alessi hotel is an easy, 15-minute, walk down a gentle hill from the station. It’s located pretty much in the centre of the town, and could hardly be more conveniently situated. Shops, restaurants, the tourist office and the ferry dock are just a minute or so’s walk away. We stayed eight nights in room 305 (labelled “Desenzano”), which was...

We have eaten here several times over a two year period, however, on this visit to Desenzano the service and food was very poor, the last meal there, after having the first course we waited 40 minutes for the next course the waiter avoided us the entire time, we were past the point of wanting it by the time it...

Not easy to find but worth looking and great location near to the square. Bruno was fantastic checking us in and providing parking for our motorbikes. The street it is located in is just typical Italy and the food was great. Lovely breakfast watching people go by. We would visit again.

We stayed for 5 nights in September 2016. The room was comfortable with a large bathroom (shower only). All the hotel staff are really helpful and Bruno, the manager/owner, is just brilliant without being intrusive. The hotel is situated up a picturesque narrow street a few metres from the main street and very close to the lake and all Desenzano...

I stayed four nights in Alessi Hotel. As I have a handicap I had ordered a singel-room close to the lift and with no stairs in the corridor. So i got the room farthest from the lift and with 2 stairs in the corridor. The room was very smal and dark, but had two beds. The bathroom was extremly small....

Spent a week here in July and I really couldn't fault anything about Hotel Alessi. Bruno was so lovely to deal with, we had the famous Room 414 on the top with beautiful views and a large terrace with sunbeds (abit beaten up but once you've got the cushions/pillows on them, they're fine!) There's a sign in the hallway for...

We stayed here for 3 nights having booked a premium room with large room and jacuzzi. Whilst the room was very large and comfortable, the bathroom was very small. We also suffered from noise from late night revellers into the early hours. Breakfast was somewhat limited. However the location is very good in the centre of town and close to...
