Daytime, you walk up to the hills, and you will find that nothing is important than a fresh air. Night time, you stay on the backyards, and look up to the sky, you cannot escape from the stars above your head, so romantic. Stay in Il Mulinaccio is the best way for you to search reasonable Tuscan wine, olive oil,... More

Choosing the right place to holiday, even when reading many web pages and reviews is a bit of a lottery. By choosing Agriturismo Il Mulinaccio, we certainly hit the jackpot. We are not ladies who are easily pleased or give praise where it is not deserved, but we must share with you how wonderful our experience was, despite only stepping... More

Il Mulinaccio was one of nine accommodations offered as part of a package for the Teatro del Silenzio performance of Andrea Bocelli and we certainly count ourselves extremely fortunate to have chosen this one. From the moment we arrived, and were greeted by Alessio, until we departed five days later, somewhat heavier due to Mama's amazing food, everything was just... More

Beautiful accommodations off the beaten path in Volterra. Friendly owners and staff. The best authentic Tuscan food and wine! Definitely stay for dinner! The wine is their own organic red wine - so good! Fresh food made right there. The pool was a highlight for our son (as well as the dogs). Loved our stay. Very comfortable!

WOW.......that will sum up our stay at il mulinaccio. i had wanted to travel italy and see how the italians live their lives everyday and not the life of some one in a tourist trap type of setting. what brought my wife and myself to this area of tuscany was the concert of andrea bocelli . I stumbled upon these... More

We only spent a night here but really wished we could have stayed longer. What a beautiful peaceful place run by truly lovely people. Alessio and his family made us feel right at home. The rooms in the farmhouse were lovely - old and charming yet with all the mod cons. The shower there was one of the best we... More

we had a very pleasant stay with Alessio and his family, including the dogs! Very beautiful rooms/appartments and mama cooked a 5* meal with truffels for us. Very interesting farm with safran, wine, truffels and so on. Relaxing at the pool or visiting Volterra is what you can do from here. Wifi is in the library, not in the apartment....... More

We had an unforgettable dinner at this Agriturismo after our wedding in Volterra. After photographs among the olive groves and vineyards, Alessio brought us pre-dinner drinks while we marvelled at the scenery and waited for his mother Maria to cook our meal. The wait was worth it...the meal was an absolutely amazing experience. The service was excellent, the food exceptional... More

We stayed 4 nights at this perfect place in July. One of the things we liked best was getting to dine with the other guests under the tent. What a lovely experience. When we were there, the other guests were all from Holland. But, we all chatted between courses and our kids played with their kids. In the evenings after... More

The hosts Alessio and Federica, with the amazing Maria in the kitchen make Il Mulinaccio an amazing, wonderful base to explore central Tuscany from. The food was absolutely amazing, and the service exceptional - we plan to be back! We visited with record hot weather in August 2012, and the air conditioners and pool were also very welcome!
