We stayed just one night..... We were in a room that was an American motel type room....... Hmmmmmm, OK, so, it was clean, had most mod cons, but the decor was tired and needed updating.... New curtains and bedspread would have done it.... The pool is incredible!!!! The owner a very sweet man, so why the 3?????????, the decor was...

Villa Nencini is conveniently situated on the outskirts of Volterra and about 10-15 minutes uphill walk from the centre of the small town.Owners very obliging and helpful. However the rooms are adequate and some rooms have small balconies and excellent views over the Tuscan countryside. Showers definitely too small and akward. One group dinner for 6 of us was very...

At first you think that it is hotel out of the city and oriented to tourists who want swimming pool and fine food. It is close enough to have dinner in the town, to walk there and understand Volterra better. You have parking near the entrance and some steps to rooms or to the dining room downstairs. Breakfast is fair...

We stayed here 2 nights at the beginning of a Sherpa Expeditions walking tour of Tuscany. Based on our basic room I was a little surprised to learn that a Rick Steves tour group was also staying at our hotel. It turned out that they had booked the superior rooms that include a balcony or patio with a better view....

Just outside the wall of the old city, the location gets you close access but with the lovely bonus of parking. A short but steep uphill climb will get you into the city center. Make sure to bring good walking shoes. The staff was helpful and friendly, even more so if you spoke Italian. The guest room was a good...

The Volterra's Tourist Information office recommended this place to us, so we booked 1 room for 4 people, it was big enough and very clean, with air conditioning and a big shower room. The villa interior design is beautiful, it has a lovely pool, free parking and the price includes a delicious Breakfast. Great location and an absolutely amazing view.

Stayed here for 1 night with my boyfriend as part of a trip round Tuscany. I was looking for somewhere close to Volterra town but with free parking so this hotel was ideal. The hotel looks like a villa with a Tuscan feel and it has a lovely pool area. The views from the hotel of the surrounding countryside are...

Although the front desk staff is accurately described by Rick Steves', in his 2015 Italy book, as listless [did not provide us with much information or assistance during check in]. The architecture of the hotel is absolutely beautiful and the views from it are stunning. The room we stayed in was on the ground floor with AC, very private and...
