We loved this hotel! Lots of reasons to stay here! One. Location. Walking distance to the beach, opposite a park where you can walk and hire bikes, close to restaurants. Two. Great service. Pola, one of the owners, will go over and above to help you with any information you need or to make you feel at home. Three. All abilities. Lift access for those needing it and bathrooms that don’t have typically Italian step in shower/ baths. Four. The food! Breakfasts are home cooked and the range of home made cakes is amazing. They even cater for gluten free and their gluten free food is delicious. You can also enjoy a set lunch or dinner menu if you wish to and the meals are generous and delicious!

Lovely traditional Italian building. Fantastic staff, family run and made you feel like you were part of the family. Fantastic breakfast, great choice, fresh produce and excellent home made cakes! Modest sized rooms, big enough for the two of us. Good bathroom, very clean through out. Across the road from a lovely park. 5 minutes walk from the beach, plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay here again

This hotel was a really good choice for us. We stayed here for one week in July 2019. It was much nicer than what it looked like on the pictures and we got a lot for our money. The staff is very pleasant and service minded, have a lot knowledge about the Tuscany area, they helped us when we had questions and made us feel like home. Also the hotel was very clean, and it was pretty small, which made it cosy. Therefor we really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was also good, and we have nothing to complain about. With an easy standard, we felt it gave us much more than what we payed for. It is central, very close to the beach and the train station, a nice neighbourhood, clean streets, and has everything we could ask for. The staff also gave us towels we could bring to the beach every day. We would really like to go back! A good choice for a vacation in Tuscany.

We stayed at this hotel for one week in September. We chose the hotel because it offered a gluten free breakfast. It did not disappoint!! In the morning they prepared bruschetta, home made cakes and various packaged biscuits, all gluten free! There was also other choices including fruit. The staff were all friendly and welcoming, including the Nonna who always greeted us. The rooms and hotel throughout was immaculate. We would strongly recommend this hotel! Grazie millie for a welcome stay!

Super friendly staff. It is a small family run hotel and they really take care of their guests. Always with a smile and happy. I will stay here again next time I am in Viareggio. The breakfast looks at first glance small if you are used to American hotels but it has everything I wanted and more.

I am almost afraid to say how much I love this place, fearing it could be overwhelmed, but it really is just about the nicest place, with the nicest owner and staff, that I have ever seen. It would be perfect for a family or older folks. Probably not well suited to hard drinking partying crowd. The staff keep the place very clean and it's pretty quiet. I really hated to leave.

Great location across from a park and a few blocks from the beach. Room and bed were comfy and the people/family that run it are very nice and helpful. Breakfast was full of cakes and savory foods, all were great. The only negative would be that when you have the windows open there is a good amount of noise from the side on the main street. We would have closed the windows and used the AC or fan but they don't have it available till June. That why you should always have earplugs to be safe. Otherwise we thought it was a real value with nice people.

On the one hand if I am honest about this review everyone will want to stay here and it will be hard to book for a reasonable rate... But it will be a while and I will go off season. This place is great.Staff great.Breakfast the greatest...cakes were excellant, mellon was incredible never had any like it came from silicy. Also I couldn't believe it they had egg omelets...just what I was craving...then they proceeded to personally make the greatest cappuccinos. Then the room was clean and comfortable overlooking the great peaceful park which is adjacent and has the greatest bike rentals in viarrago ... Close to train station... Everything was great including the price ,definitely coming back to this place next time. Ps. I am a tough reviewer and don't do good reviews.. But this place is great. The pics are of the park next door in the evening... This town also is a must see in italy...peaceful a way from the hustle and bustle of the bigger cities. Best to visit down early season before kids go to beach. Almost forgot... Great supermarket nearby ,conrad market.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Viareggio in this lovely, clean family hotel. There was a nice friendly welcome when we arrived. Our room was small but ample for one night. The complimentaries in the room again were ample. Limited bar but that was not essential for us! The breakfast was fantastic. Fresh fruit and fresh home made cakes. Thoroughly recommend this hotel for any one visiting Viareggio.

Hotel clean and friendly, breakfast good, would stay again. Very handy for train station and beach. Next to park, very cheap to hire cycles to get around area. Not a fan of Italian beaches that are paying only, with 29 km of 10 deep umbrellas/gazebos. Used cycles and train/bus to explore area including Lucca and Massa/Antona (fantasic bus ride into marble mountains for €1.50 each way)
