No elevator. missing towels, safe and airco not properly working, horrible breakfast (warm yogurt), noisy room and surroundings. Hotel maid not wearing mask. Area is NOT a safe place on night. it is at walking distance from beach area, but I'm definitively NOT recommending it.
A Small hotel in a quiet street easy reach of promenade ,, through a lovey big shady park, entrance at end of street, Hotel breakfasts are just wonderful good choices, rooms are very comfortable .efficient Air con .good beds and bedding. the owners are the nicest people, who make you so welcome, nothing is a trouble to them ,the 2 star rating is misleading it deserves more.I would love to return
A truly nice and inexpensive hotel in a quiet area (at least in June). Hosted by a super friendly couple with their tiny dog named Mia. Nice rooms, nice breakfast, even a minibar and TV. About a 10 minute walk to the beach, really good value for money.
What a quaint little spot in a lovely area. We weren't expecting much due to the price but we were desperate as we had been let down by another accommodation. We were late checking in that night but both owners were there to greet us with keys and a quick check in. Our room was small but very clean and comfortable. We couldn't figure out the aircon and the shower temperature fluctuated a bit but otherwise we were very happy. We even had a free buffet breakfast and free WiFi. So for the price it was excellent value for money in such a busy place.
This place is so easy to stay at and the owners are lovely. They give you a beach pass to a club and they make you feel at home. The rooms are super clean and the owners are lovely. The owner makes and bakes all the breakfast items which are delicious. I was traveling alone and felt very well taken care of and I recommend it highly.
This is a lovely little hotel, just a short walk from the beach, through the cool and shaded park. The owners are very friendly and helpful and recommended a great restaurant for dinner. The room was spacious and very comfortable, it had a nice little balcony with seating. The a/c worked really well, so the room didn't get too hot. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean. Breakfast was a plentiful buffet of Italian pastries and cakes as well as bread, ham and eggs. There were delicious little biscuits as well which I couldn't get enough of! Coffee is made fresh from the machine which is a nice touch. The location is perfect, not too far from the station or the beach, or the supermarket. We stayed for 3 nights, I wish we could have stayed longer!
For the second time I was here and I will definitely come back again. A very nice hotel at about 10 minutes from the station. Large rooms and very clean. Television and air conditioning. The couple does everything themself with a great heart and very kind. A wide choice of fresh food, very good quality. Cakes and sweets are homemade by the lady of the house. This place is surely worth more than 2 stars.
Excellent place to stay! Rooms look as at photos, they are almost luxury, very modern and clean. Double bed room very bi and convenient for the longer stay as well. Very nice modern and clean bathrooms. Very good breakfast, continental plus with cheese and ham. Kind staff, but no one speaks good english, however they are very helpful and try to communicate and help. We had some problems with card payment and we paid in cash. Nice quiet district with a few local bars nearby. Close to parks, city center and to the seaside. Be careful on google maps and GPS as there are one-way roads and it is hard to find the place when driving a car, especially during evening ;)
We stayed in Viareggio for a night on our way from Cinque Terre to Florence. This family-owned hotel is truly special! They were very attentive and made sure we were comfortable in our room, which was warm, very clean, and cozy. The breakfast was absolutely incredible! I would recommend it very much, excellent value for money. And Viareggio is worth the stop...
Regarding the hotel - it's excellent! Me and my wife, we felt homy and the morning home breakfast, with the delicious cappuccino made by the landlord was ....mmmm :) The landlord doesn't speak english, but his son speaks. If you visit the hotel, ask them to recommend you good restaurants. That's what we did and we found good restaurants with no service fees! One recommendation for room N4 ... there's plenty of room to put small fridge and something to dry visitors beach towels, because we missed these things. Regarding the noise ... it wasn't the most quite place I've been. There are some scooters passing by from time to time. P.S. If your plan is to do your seaside there ... I don't recommend it! the beaches are dirty and the sea water as well. If you really wanna do your italian seaside - go as south as possible!…
