You must consider Arsella B&B for your Viareggio stay. Myself and the family had the apartment on the top floor with 2 bathrooms a kitchen and 3 bedrooms. You also get room balconies looking towards the sea and a larger balcony to the rear overlooking a the local Italian community. This is the perfect location for your beach holiday as you are within minutes walk of the beaches and in the other direction a park where you can hire bikes and find lots of family entertainment. The local promenade has a lot of gelato shops and Italian restaurants. You may also want to venture away from the main promenade into the town streets where in my opinion you will find more authentic Italian restaurants. You must also walk across the marina to find Cremaria Emma, which has the best crepes and gelato in the area. I spent 2 weeks in the apartment and can say this is the perfect location for your stay. You could even take the train from Pisa airport and a 15 minute walk is all it will take to reach the apartment. This is ideal as you may find parking difficult in the area. Viareggio has a large cycling community and many locals and visitors will use bikes for transport. The viareggio terrain is extremly flat making cycling fun for the whole family. Bike rentals are very easy and will cost around €8 per day. Your host Luciana is absolutely fantastic. Luciana is very knowledgeable with regards to the area and can assist with ideas for your daily activities. All round this B&B is absolutely perfect for an apartment stay or a room for a few days. You will find a fantastic host in an extremely well presented town house style B&B.

My husband and I went to B&B Arsella to spend our honeymoon there. Arsella picked us up from the airport, a lovely and very friendly lady. She gave us a lot of very helpful advice and made us feel very welcome and comfortable! Our room was beautiful and tastefully decorated, it was cleaned everyday and we were able to make coffee and tea in our room. The Breakfast offered had a big variety from self-baked cake, fresh fruit, different yogurts, cereal, rolls, fresh bread, Salami, ham, cheese to tomatoes, fresh basil and mozzarella.....there was everything my husband and I loved!! (Also fantastic Cappuccino) Arsella's House has a beautiful atmosphere and I can recommend a holiday there with all my heart!!

This is a very clean and comfortable bed and breakfast. One block walk to the beach and located next to a beautiful park for running and exercise. Lots of shopping restaurants and beautiful beach to relax on. Viarregio has a lot to offer and shopping, from specialty boutiques to affordable clothing stores! The second-floor room was cozy with a nice balcony overlooking the street. To be in such a nice city so close to the beach the pricing is very affordable! I am traveling alone and Hotel Arsella and the wonderful host Luciana have made me feel very welcome and safe here.

We stayed at Bed & Breakfast Arsella in September 2015. We enjoyed very much our room on the 1'St floor with a large terrace. The room is very well equipped, clean and with gives you all the comfort you need. The breakfast is very good and is served in a friendly environment. The owner is very helpfull and provides a lot of useful information about the town and surroundings. Our best recommendations.

I have stayed with Luciana now at Arsalla two years running and have always received the warmest of welcomes from Luciana, indeed she has become a friend. She cannot do enough to help her guests and is always ready with recommendations about the best place to eat, hire a bike and bathe on the beach so you do not get ripped off. The Guest house itself is very clean and comfortable with the rooms very well presented with comfortable beds, bright decoration and a nice clean shower room. The breakfast is a buffet where you can help yourself and always has plenty of choice on offer. This combined with the fact that it is only 2 minutes from the seafront and the cool and shady pine forest makes it a great value place to stay in Viareggio. I thoroughly recommend it and will be returning.

Viareggio is a crowded beach place where the rooms are small and expensive. But because of Luciana you forget about these things. She is charming as she is organized and with that extremely helpful. On top of that she makes sure to make you (at least us) feel special, what more can you ask? I even forgive the little bit rough cleaning of the rooms and the Nespresso-like coffee, and that last one is maybe more on me. Thank you Luciana!

I was in September. From Pisa airport came by bus. The stop is located on the next street. My room was on the first floor, bright, clean, large bed, TV, shower, bidet. Bed linen, towels changed as necessary. Good Italian breakfast. Great location, near sea. If you want to spend on the beach all day, then you have to buy a seat under an umbrella with a lounger. There are two places where you can sunbathe for free - at the pier on the left and right by the river. If you just want to swim, you can go to any beach and leave things in the sand. Near a large park where you can rent a bike and ride around the city. Walk from the train station 20 minutes. If you are traveling, buy tickets in advance at the station always a queue and can run only one ticket window. Luciana - gracious and attentive hostess. Recommended.

We spent ten days at the B and B Arsella and we had a lovely time, the B&B is well located, five minutes walk from the beach and the passegiata, it's about 15 minutes walk to the station so if you are planning to travel around it's very easy. The rooms are very clean, the owner Luciana does everything she can to make your stay enjoyable, follow her recommendations for places to see and to eat. Really nice stay, do not forget to hire a bicycle and go to Torre de Lago, it's just beautiful and try the restaurant Villa Grazie, it's simply delicious!
