We stayed here as a couple on half board basis, in a room with a side sea view. The room was comfortable and bright and the welcome bottle of Prosecco on ice was a lovely touch. The staff were very friendly and professional and made our stay very relaxing. The hotel is ideally located for the promenade and beach and...

We stayed here for 2 nights having found a great offer. The warm roof top pool was amazing and at 36 deg c even on a cold day it would be toasty warm and if you want to sit out and get cold they will bring you a duvet. Breakfast was adequate and we ate at a burlesque evening organised...

Good hotel and service. Room was clean and in good order but in need of moderization to 20th century standards for example a small desk completely covered with coffee stuff, glasses (for the minibar) and a TV ... useless for a business travel with a laptop and in need of a work surface. The excuse of safety being the reason...

The hotel was built in the '20s of last century and has been entirely renovated preserving original items and making new ones utilizing original designs. The result is very impressive and comfortable. We also utilized the spa, which has all basic amenities one would expect. We had a very nice room facing the sea (recommended) and, although we only spent...

My husband flew us to Italy and Viareggio was where we spent my 50th birthday. It was excellent the hotel upgraded us to a suite with a spectacular view. A bottle of bubbly was sent to us at sundown. Hotel was superb unfortunately their renowned restaurant was closed for a private party. In fact most of the restaurants in Viareggio...

This storied luxury hotel on the seafront promenade in Viareggio is a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World. Built in the early 1920s, restored to the height of its charm in 2004 after 19 months' refurbishment work, today the Principe is without doubt one of the world's most exclusive and refined historical hotels. The 106 rooms, including 19 suites, on five floors decorated in different styles, represent an ideal cross-section of elegant hospitality over the ages, through to the contemporary design of the sun-drenched rooftop swimming pool. The "Piccolo Principe" and "Regina" restaurants have also made their own contribution to the renown built up over the years by the Grand Hotel Principe di Piemonte in Viareggio. The Two-starred Michel restaurant "Piccolo Principe" offers sophisticated cuisine against the magnificent backdrop of the panoramic roof garden, where guests dine in summer, while the "Regina" restaurant offers traditional Tuscan fare. ... more   less
