Great place to stay. Very close to the seaside (ca. 200 m) and to many restaurants. The host will give you a lot of valuable information about the town and all the attractions. I highly recommend this place to all couples and families!!!
I stayed here for 3 nights in early August. Anna, the owner, is utterly charming & extremely helpful. My room was well equipped with everything one would need including a fridge & hair dryer, the bathroom was very clean and it was cool enough not to use the air conditioning. Breakfast offered a good choice of fresh food & the coffee was strong & tasty. The location is perfect being just a short walk to the beach & the shops. Finding a parking place, however, is a bit of a nightmare, but that is true of most seaside towns in Italy in August. The B & B is highly recommendable.
Top location, nice room (nr 7), small bathroom. Parking nearby, 6€/day, if payed in the B&B. Breakfast is basic, but prepared with love. Especially for me, Anna had dairyfree cheese, cookies, croissants, soyamilk. Anna is a super friendly, helpfull lady. Thank you Anna and Tatum, you made our holiday very pleasant!!
Based on reviews here, I booked 5 days as a pre-trip to an organized tour. Anna was everything I had hoped for. Her exceptional care for me as a guest was unmatched. She helped direct me to hilltop towns and the sites of the region. She made sure I had it all in hand before I left: train and bus times, the stops, where to go once I got there--all of it!! I had an interior room which had A/C which I could control, TV and WiFi. The bed was comfortable, the breakfast fresh with good variety including homemade goodies! All sites in the town were very close. A block away and you stepped onto a promenade that extended for dozens of miles on the beachfront. I couldn't have asked for more. It really became home and felt sad to leave Anna's care and the vibrant inner core of a slice of Italia in which I was privileged to share.…
I have stayed here for four years now, and I look forward to it every time. Anna is caring, funny, attentive - she always takes exceptional care of her guests. Breakfast is wonderful and she's a marvelous cook if there's a large enough group to plan dinner. Her place is darling - small and cozy with nice-sized rooms. There are refrigerators in each room, A/C, TV and Wi-Fi. The fresh, white beach and art theme adds to the relaxing atmosphere - and the beach and promenade are a block away! As is a "Conad" grocery store, an ATM/bancomat and the Principe Hotel with it's roof-top bar. It's a great location. Ask for a "sea view" room if you'd like a small balcony above the front door; the rooms on the back side are more quiet.
This is a relatively small B&B within walking distance of the beach. Our room was comfortable it contained a set of bunk beds which we did not need and the bathroom was small but functionable. Breakfast was fine. Anna was very friendly and helpful with a couple of recommendations - a restaurant which was superb and a short trip to Pietra Santa which was excellent. All in all a nice couple of days.
We found this bed-and-breakfast very last minute. And we were very happy when we arrived as it was only a block and a half from the beach and the property looks very nice. And it was very welcoming and very accommodating. Unfortunately she didn't want us how incredibly uncomfortable the bed would be. They were Springs sticking up out of it that she had some sort of foam rubber tape over it to try to prevent you from feeling them. You need to have a comfortable bed in a bed and breakfast this was as bad as it gets. Also I read a couple of reviews about a Sumptuous breakfast, and unfortunately we can't say that. It was very simple and very basic and really nothing special about it at all. With that said it certainly was inexpensive and clean and quite convenient
I have been coming here for four years because of the extraordinary goodservice The wonderful Anna prepares a sumptuous breakfast The rooms are en suit and well maintained Located near the seafront I can honestly say i love this place❤️❤️❤️❤️
I have brought groups to La Viareggina multiple times and every one is a delight. The proprietor, Anna, is so warm and welcoming. She ensures everyone is comfortable, helps answer questions and make recommendations - or reservations. Her boutique hotel is decorated simply and beautifully - crisp white, touches of blue with beach themes and artwork. She offers a very nice buffet breakfast to include homemade cakes, fresh fruit, cereals and yogurt, meat and cheese - and delicious made-to-order cappuccinos and Americanos. Her lovely property has a small courtyard in the center for outdoor seating as well as a covered, cozy lounge area. The rooms have suitable space, some slightly larger than others. It's a quiet street, and only a block from the promenade and the beach. Guests often head that direction for shopping, beachfront dining or an aperitivo, but if you go the other direction - into the historic center of town, there are open markets, parks, the train station and more. It's a great town to explore, and La Viareggina is a perfect home base. I'll be back!…
The room was very clean and comfortable. The room and the hotel itself is decorated with love. Anna, the owner of the hotel is a wonderful, friendly, helpful and warm person who made our stay special. She offered a great breakfast and had really good recommendations concerning restaurants and little tours. The hotel is only 2 minutes away from the beach and a little supermarket. It is located in a small, quiet street. Anna organised the parking of the car, which was great. Would defenitely come back and can only recommend a stay at Anna's place!
