Stayed 5 nights for a wedding. Junior suite. Room and bathroom spacious and very clean. A/c worked well Breakfast was lovely. Great spread. Top omelettes. Ate one evening meal in restaurant. Great steaks Wedding went well. One minor hitch when they failed to sort post ceremony drinks resulting in long queues which they should have seen coming But overall very good. Superb pool area where we spent a lot of time in the heat Highly recommend

Ridiculous hotel that is mistaking itself with a hostel. Breakfast starts at 8 - that doesn't mean you can actually start at 8 am. The hotel may start thinking about getting things ready, so after 30 min a small buffet is ready. Not a single incident, this happened 3 days in a row. The rooms are decent, but that does not help when you're forced to listen to party music all night long (meaning till 2 am on weekdays). The reception doesn't care at all, or tries to avoid problems by keeping guests separated. Not recommended for business trips, vacation or leisure. Or if you just expect a hotel where you can have breakfast and sleep a full night.

This is a wonderful little hotel. The owners are super hospitable and cater to your every need! The room (superior double) was well furnished and the bathroom is quite spacious and modern. We did ask for 2 beds and when we arrived the room had a king bed. They told us they would separate the beds the following morning which they did not do and were told that the chambermaids were gone and they could not remake the bed. It was not a deal breaker but we did specifically ask for 2 beds. Breakfast is wonderful and there are plenty of choices. They make great omellettes! We had a very early flight and they made sure we had a little breakfast (great cappuccino) before we left. The location is probably the best part if you want to be near the Vatican. The hotel is practically up against the Vatican City wall...you can walk to St. Peter's in under 5 minutes. Lots of great restaurants nearby - within a couple of blocks. We look forward to returning!

Visited Bramante hotel in august 2022. Before arriving I inquired again if they noticed the remark in the “Notes” field upon reservation in december 2021 requesting reservation for restaurant on day of arrival. Nobody informed us days ahead that restaurant is closed (closing date restaurant is not mentioned on website, so you may have luck that resto is open or not)… so great disappointment that last minute plans had to change. Upon arrival I was super friendly greeted by frontdesk empolyer and than female mangement worker appeared… I was handled on a very arrogant way and certainly when the issue of the resaturant was discussed… they booked us in their resto in Todi center named “Basico”… as unknown visitors of Todi she very briefly explained where to catch a bus on a piece of paper with a drawing of the hotel sitaution, cathedral, parking and busstop… we ordered a taxi because it was all so unclear. Next morning we found out that it was only a 10 min walk to parking Orvieto where you can catch every 15 min a free bus to Todi center and back till around 12 midnight… Hello management thank you for not knowing the current situation, in yr own habitat, how to enter easily Todi center ??? So back to the day we arrived… she briefly showed us the way to our room, breakfast room and opened a door so that we could easily handle our luggage…. Never had such an unfriendly management person at reception… wow ! Not even she popped the question can we help with yr luggage !!! During our stay we had to endure 2 nights when there was a party event and one wedding event…. Our room was located above resto so we had to endure music and the noise till early hours next morning. And when we did go to resto fort breakfast next morning you could find the cigarette butts on the terrace all over the place…YAKKES !!! Also when it was the wedding event all the spaces of the parking lot were taken by the guests for the wedding…. There isn’t at all a loyal gesture from hotelmanagement to reserve some parking lots for hotelguests returning from a day exploring the region…. The only very friendly gesture came from a frontdesk worker and night porter to give their parkingspace to us when returning after going out at evening…. So this shows exactly that hotelguests travelling with car are less important than the big dollars spending wedding guests. Also at breakfast after the nights that resto is open you get the leftovers of bread…. As hard as stone !!!! You couldn’t bite these …. Also 1 morning the boiled eggs (according to the card indicating the eggs) were soft boiled…… so not only me that morning were discusted that we were smeared by egg. Also one evening at resto my husband orderded the duckbreast…. Fully cooked out …. Probably made days ahead and just warmed up in a steamer… you can’t fool us because we handling in the meat business. It was tasteless !! Also the room ( booked a “de luxe” room) was not deluxe at all…. I was disgusted that after a shower the water was streaming out beside the shower cabine…. And even the WC brush was YAKKES oh so dirty and comlpetely broken … Even when checking out the frontdesk worker was super nice and than showed up again the female hotelmanager …. With an un unfriendly face, not even friendly speaking to me and what me shocked the most that she didn’t simply even said Goodbye ….. As someone already said in a review in July 22 ….. hotelmanagement/owners must decide which way going ….. an event place for party’s/weddings OR a relaxing place (night and day) for travellars seeking quitness outside TODI …. So future travellors be aware of this place …. It’s not all bright and shiny wat it looks on their website !!!!

The staff at Bramante are gracious, kind and accommodating! The hotel itself is a combination of the beauty of old with enough of a funky vibe with spectacular views and spaces within that makes it a perfect place to gather for celebrating. We had a weekend wedding with dinners, partying, eating Aldo's delicious food meal after meal. They work with food preferences, group rates on rooms, they have a florist that did a wonderful job, they help you set up hair appointments, order additional items to be sent to the hotel in preparation for you event and all around accommodated our wishes. Did I say the FOOD WAS FABULOUS! It was truly a perfect and magical wedding.

We visited in August 2022. The location of this hotel couldn't get better, the cheapest rooms could do with a makeover however the upgraded rooms are nice and modern and have clearly had a revamp. Regardless of the rooms maybe not being perfect, the view is stunning, the food and drink was excellent although not cheap. A great pool with a pool bar was ran by 2 great guys, one from Brazil and the other Italy. They were super friendly and very helpful with any query we had. HOWEVER, our whole experience has been ruined here by one crazy moment... we had a wine tasting session booked which was an 18-minute drive away. So of course, we asked the hotel to book us a taxi for 6 people for this 18-minute journey. The taxi came, the man was very friendly (in hindsight we should have asked how much the journey was going to be then, you can see where this is going) and we arrived at the wine tasting venue. We offered to pay the taxi driver then, but he said no problem I can just come back for your return trip, and you can pay me it all in one go. Ok, we said we will ring you when we are done. Interestingly the guy running the wine tasting asked us what taxi company that is as he's never seen that man before and there was no taxi logo on the vehicle. After the wine tasting the taxi arrived and he dropped us off in the centre of Todi, again a 20-minute drive. We got out the taxi, he took his phone out his pocket, opened the calculator app and showed us the number 250, yes 250 euros for a total of 40 minutes driving!!!!!! We of course refused, he then said OK I will settle with 200 euros. At this point we now know he is trying to have us on as he has come down 50 euros in 15 seconds. He wouldn't settle for any less even though he had started the negotiation process, we gave him 100 euros (which we found out the next day was still an unbelievable amount of money for this journey) but as tourists we weren't 100% sure however our gut feeling was 250 euros was scandalous. We went on to enjoy our evening and arrived back at our hotel at about 11:30pm. We were greeted in reception by the taxi driver himself!!!!! He had been let in by the hotel staff and was in reception waiting, who knows how long he had been there. At this point we were of course scared not knowing what this man was capable of. All thoughts running through our head, but the hotel booked this taxi for us? They have now let him into the hotel? To do what? He is clearly wanting more money from us so what is going to happen next? Unfortunately, the nightguard was not helpful and was basically saying the taxi driver made a mistake and was meant to ask for 150 euros from us, which of course is still a crazy amount, and we know this wasn't true as he tried to get 200 euros after initially asking for 250! We asked the nightguard what he would have paid for that journey as a local, but he refused to answer, which made us worried even more. Why won't he answer that in front of this taxi man? Who was this man they had booked for us and then let back into the hotel? We ended up giving him the extra 50 euros due to the whole situation being an unpleasant ordeal and we just wanted it to end. The next day we went to the pool and the workers were flabbergasted that they had tried to charge us 250 euros. The taxi man tried to take us to his friends’ restaurant in the centre of todi called "Jacopone Restaurant". Thank goodness we already had a booking elsewhere otherwise who knows what would have happened or what they would have tried to charge us! All in all, what was potentially going to be an amazing holiday and experience turned into a bit of a nightmare. Please no one else make the same mistake as I'm pretty sure someone at the hotel must have been in on the whole thing.

Having been charmed by Hotel Bramante in 2019 we returned this year and spent 10 wonderful relaxing days here, despite the searing heat of July 2022. The rooms are air conditioned, the pool attended and with towels and drinks. The location of the hotel is fantastic with stunning Umbrian views and with easy access to Todi for evening dining. All batteries recharged......Recommend thoroughly

More of a wedding venue than a hotel. Very noisy when there is a wedding. Restaurant in the evening is very rarely open. Drinks are expensive. Lovely pool and pool staff. When there is a wedding which can be 3 a week the pool closes early and you definitely will not eat in the Restaurant because it is not open.

We have been coming to Italy for many years. Before we left, we were a bit concerned whether it was safe to travel this summer. It was therefore good to see that all COVID measures are being followed perfectly at Hotel Bramante. Moreover, you have a lot of space outside and inside so that we always felt very comfortable. It was not our first time at this hotel. Just like the previous times, everything was superb: a beautiful room with an extraordinary view, very clean, the family and staff are incredibly friendly and the evening meals are absolutely enjoyable.  We experienced this hotel in the past already as splendid and it is still getting better every year. The family and staff are doing a great job! We will definitely come back again!

What a stunning place, stayed for 2 days. Booked the cheapest room with parking view and hoped for an upgrade ... NOT. But never-mind the view, the terrace, the pool and especially the staff was excellent. Points for improvement try to change the music playing list (6 songs only) at the pool and replace the x-mas playlist at the terrace for some nice Italian music. Todi is on walking distance and a great place to visit. 2 days @ Todi “Just Do It” !
