We had a wonderful stay here. The room we had was spacious and the staff are incredible friendly and helpful. The views are fantastic. We had a good breakfast each day outside on the terrace, admiring the views. Although the hotel is in a quiet spot it is also in an excellent position for walking to everything in Spoleto. The...

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. It was very clean and comfortable and very relaxing. Great views from the beautiful garden. Anna was extremely helpful with local information. They parked our car for us as it was a small car park. That was very helpful as it was a hire car with no sensors!! Would definitely stay again.

All aspects of our four-day stay at this wonderful boutique hotel were first class. The friendly owners have created a real gem through meticulous renovation and excellent service. Although you may be tempted to stay within the beautifully manicured hotel grounds, this is an excellent base from which to walk the charming streets of Historic Spoleto and also tour Umbria.

We can't say enough about the breathtaking beauty of the Palazzo Leti. The view from our room and from the terrace were absolutely stunning. This is another place where pictures just don't do it justice, you have to see it and experience it for yourself. For some reason, I didn't realize we could take a cab to the hotel and...

The hotel was selected for a relaxing long week end: it has been an excellent choice. The location is simply fantastic with a garden with a nice view over the valley: the garden is a typical italin garden well maintained with a couple of fountains and flowers: beautyful in the early morning and relaxing in the afternoon. Room and bathroom...

We visit Tuscany for a couple of months per year. We try to make it to Umbria when we can. Our dear friend from the states was performing at Teatro Nuovo. Unfortunately, we only had one night at this beautiful palazzo. Laura and her husband gave us the warmest welcome. The grounds and rooms are beautiful. An amazing view from...

We stayed for one night at Palazzo Leti Residenza D'Epoca. The hotel staff was really helpful and kind, the room nice and clean, just what we needed after a long drive. The breakfast good and provided lots of choices from croissant to cereals etc. There was no scrambled egg or grilled bacon though (not a big deal of course). The...

The place is amazing. The view from the garden is breathtaking. The owner are kind and sweat. I recommend it, it is a must see once in your life. Taking your breakfest in the garden in the morning looking at the Forteress is indiscridible.

We had a truly wonderful week in Spoleto and were delighted to find the Hotel Palazzo Leti everything we had hoped for. The only difficulties were the narrow roads and limited parking space, but the owner is an expert at manoeuvring the car for you. The most straightforward approach is via the Spoleto South exit from the SS3. As you...

From the moment you enter the archway that leads to the formal garden (with statues, a fountain and lovely garden patio with large umbrellas at your disposal) you know that you are someplace special. The hotel has the most beautiful views across to wooded mountains and vistas far and wide of Umbria. We sat outside on the terrace in the...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The beautiful residence of the noble Leti family is located in the historic center of Spoleto. According to various sources, it seems that this was the first residence of the Leti family who arrived in Spoleto in 1500 but the family name became extinct at the beginning of the XIX century. due to a lack of male heirs. The Residence was built shortly after the medieval city walls were constructed (1292) using, in part, a pre existent Roman structure which you can still see walking along Via delle Felici. Recent restoration has revealed an important architectural, environmental and historic heritage not to mention a garden that has been restored in classic "Italian garden" style. From the garden one can admire the beautiful view of Monteluco and some of Spoleto's most important monuments including the Rocca Albornoziana, and St. Peter's Church. Rooms: The Historical Residence consists of 12 rooms, all of which are decorated with warm lightly coloured fabrics and organza. Each room, with its unique architecture, colour and decor is reminiscent of a noble room of the past. All rooms have a view of the sacred mountain of the Spoleto valley "Monteluco", which evokes the peace and the harmony of the hermits that once lived there. Facility: Soundproof, safe, mini bar, air conditioning, TV sat, internet access free. ... more   less
