The beautiful residence of the noble Leti family is located in the historic center of Spoleto. According to various sources, it seems that this was the first residence of the Leti family who arrived in Spoleto in 1500 but the family name became extinct at the beginning of the XIX century. due to a lack of male heirs. The Residence was built shortly after the medieval city walls were constructed (1292) using, in part, a pre existent Roman structure which you can still see walking along Via delle Felici. Recent restoration has revealed an important architectural, environmental and historic heritage not to mention a garden that has been restored in classic "Italian garden" style. From the garden one can admire the beautiful view of Monteluco and some of Spoleto's most important monuments including the Rocca Albornoziana, and St. Peter's Church. Rooms: The Historical Residence consists of 12 rooms, all of which are decorated with warm lightly coloured fabrics and organza. Each room, with its unique architecture, colour and decor is reminiscent of a noble room of the past. All rooms have a view of the sacred mountain of the Spoleto valley "Monteluco", which evokes the peace and the harmony of the hermits that once lived there. Facility: Soundproof, safe, mini bar, air conditioning, TV sat, internet access free.

My husband and I recently spent two nights at Palazzo Leti. It's centrally located in historic Spoleto. Their is no need for a car as historic Spoleto is very walkable. That said, I'd recommend taking a taxi from the train station.

Our room was quite large, clean and well-a

We arrived in the City with no reservation and luckily stumbled upon Palazzo Leti. We got the last room which was not spectacular but served our purposes- the grounds and the staff made this a very memorable stay for us. Their dinner recommendation was “spot on”- we dined there

Is there an elevator in the main building and the annex? What is the difference between the superior rooms in the main building and the annex? Are the views different? Is one quieter than the other? Is it level walking from the bus stop to the hotel?
Hello Sir, nice to read your inquiry. I gladly confirm that there is an elevator in the main building but unfortunately not in the annex, as it is an historical building and we could not implement it. Superior rooms are all the same in terms of size but the annex has a more private environment, on two levels a slightly bigger living area and an incredible view (our clients says). Vies are slightly different depending on the floor level and the position of the rooms. As I was explaining the annex has a more private setup being on the other side of the garden and having a private sitting area next to the fountain. I cannot understand the last question but the bus stop is roughly 100 mt from the hotel door step. Hoping to have you with us, I send you my best regards Anna Laura

Is breakfeast served in a restaurant or in the courtyard? What happens if it rains? Where is it served?
Dear Sir, breakfast is served in the garden or inside, of course if it rains, breakfast is served in the breakfast room. Best regards

is the hotel parking onsite and not within the ztl? how far is the hotel from the train station and is there a bus/shuttle from the train stationto the hotel?
Good Evening, the hotel is within the ZTL but if you send us your plate number we will alert the local police station and get a free pass for your car. The hotel is 3 minutes driving from the train station and there is a bus that can take you at a very close stop (approx. 50 mt from us). Otherwise we can reserve a cab for you for 10$ and you will have a luggage service as well. Hope to have you with us shortly. Anna Laura
