We stayed for 5 nights and loved it. Maria was charming, very helpful and made us laugh a lot! Very spectacular setting, opulent common areas and gardens. The pool was fine. We enjoyed the breakfasts and the feel of this ever so slightly faded majestic mansion.

We don't recommend this place -We arrived late, wet and hungry after train breakdown and having previously arranged a pick up from them from the train station called them as we were late. She sent a car for which we presumed was part of the deal. 20 Euros later and no idea there was in fact a shuttle bus service....

incredible location and views. Staff were excellent. The Villa, its gardens and stunning views from the pool. The town of Spoleto was also stunning. Free wifi. a minor issue was that our room was at the front of house above the reception area which was quite noisy at times, but we would not let this deter us from visiting again.

We recently spent 6 nights here, in a lovely spacious room (the Altair) with its own little terrace, leading to the garden. Plenty of places to sit and look at the splendid view. The location of this small and personal hotel is beautiful, and the Manager, Roberto, the most helpful and friendly man. He couldn't have done more for us....

Check out a new you tube clip to see how fantastic this place really is. Roberto the manager is truly the heart and sole of this beautiful building from a romantic period in Italian history - Bella Figura. Roberto looked after us so well, with keenness, grace and charm. Nothing was too much trouble for him. Local advice re: parking,...

After a hot, somewhat stressful day in Spoleto (much climbing, sights closed in the afternoon and fighting a head cold), we drove the few miles to Villa Milani. The location is fabulous--near Spoleto, high on a hill with a beautiful view of the Town, aqueduct and hills. The Villa has old world charm with with impressive moldings, a huge fireplace,...

We returned to the villa in September 10 years after a group of us hired the whole place around our wedding. Some fabulous stuff remains like the pool, views and stunning beauty. Some things have declined though - the service is just not the same. We had no car and we had to wait 90 minutes to get a taxi...

And were sadly disappointed when we returned to Villa Milani in Spoleto. Rooms were dirty. Cobwebs. Understaffed. Breakfast was inadequate. Boring cereal. Little tarts hard as rocks. Poor quality and small amount of fruit. Not at same standard we experienced 12 years ago and had us looking forward to our return. Spoleto itself was lovely and interesting and restaurants were...

My husband and I agreed this is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The atmosphere, style and ambience created a magical stay. The room was lovely, the views are unbelievable and the food we had was delicious. A relaxing pool set among a garden dotted with prices of antiquity. A wonderful paradise😁

The is a great place to stay. Excellent rooms in an old mansion surrounded by lovely gardens with magnificent views of the town, castle and surrounding hills. Roberto our host was having some staffing difficulties with a new cook and loss of waiting staff. Nevertheless he worked very hard over long hours to make our stay enjoyable. He stated he...
