I can't say enough about the professionalism of the staff. When my husband became ill, they were incredibly helpful. Frederica arranged for a room visit from a doctor, extended our stay although it was a very busy time, arranged for a breakfast tray in the room and arranged for the maids to accommodate our needs. The whole staff showed concern for...

My husband and I returned to this beautiful hotel for a 5 night stay. It is an exceptional hotel that feels very luxurious and available at a great price! It is immaculate. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. This hotel is very different from many hotels that we use in Europe. It is incredibly spacious, and run like a...

Stayed May 4-11. Nice hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was good and included in the room rate, but parking in the garage is extra. The garage is convenient, but a bit of a challenge to get in and out. The hotel is located on a narrow one way lane with fast moving cars. You need to be...

We stayed for 3 nights, 23rd to 26th April and had a very comfortable room, can recommend 202 which has a small balcony overlooking the garden courtyard and a lovely big marble bathroom. Reception staff were lovely and the breakfast buffet was good. So clean, just everything perfect in the hotel and very close to the travelator which takes you...

We stayed 2 nights in a small hotel off themainstreet andabout a 5 minute walk from a series of escaltors that takes you to the center of the upper town and the top near the Rocca. There is good wifi,ac, heat, a safe, and the room faced the large interior and flowered courtyard. Given the courtyard,a nice place to sit,...

I stayed at this hotel twice previously and simply raved about it, but those visits were 15+ years ago as part of a bike tour. I booked this when traveling independently and was really looking forward given my past experiences. Unfortunately, I don't think anything has changed in those 15 years. So then, this 4-star hotel seemed more like a...

A great hotel! It is close to both the train station and a bus stop and very close to the escalator which takes you to the top of Spoleto. We arrived hours before check in and in the pouring rain. They have lovely common rooms- like living room and den type. We sat there and read. They then offered us...

The hotel has not been updated in ages. The lobby is is old and run down with furniture that has seen better days. There is nothing going on in the hotel and it isn't really near anything. It does have a lovely court yard.

Dear Ms Frieda, thank you for spending some time to review Hotel San Luca. We are happy you loved our beautiful and flowerfull courtyard, and of course sorry that you didn't like our style. It is true that the forniture has seen better days: it's mostly antique and of course cannot be renovated. We love taking the best care possible...

Quiet rooms, nice courtyard, own garage, located just inside the walls at the bottom of the hill, with easy access to city center with town escalators nearby if one were unable or not in the mood for the uphill 10-minute walk? Particularly helpful staff...good advice on local restaurants from our new friend behind the counter...he was always there!

We ended our holiday in Umbria at Hotel San Luca in Spoleto after a lovely stay in the region. We arrived a tad early but Federica was warm and welcoming and took us straight up to our room.
