Entering through the old city gate on a busy late afternoon in early February, we immediatly pulled out of the traffic and quickly located a friendly policeman who directed us towards the San Luca. We exited the piazza on a short connecting road ( there is actually a sign here for the Hotel San Luca ) and followed the one-way...

Hotel San Luca was my "home" from 10 Feb- 25 March 2008. My stay was most enjoyable due to the care and friendliness of staff and very comfortable because of the beautiful surroundings and high quality amenities. There are two lovely sitting rooms, including an open fire, so I wasn't confined to my bedroom. I was there on a B&B...

This is a lovely hotel with excellent service. The rooms are comfortable and have everything that you would expect. Breakfast is superb - a feature that is hard to find in Italy. In winter it is served in a bright room overlooking the central courtyard. It must be even nicer in Summer, when it is served in the courtyard itself....

This bright and welcoming hotel is located just outside the walls of the Spoleto town center. It is an easy walk to many of the shops and restaurants. Spoleto is the home of the Spoleto Festival held in June every year. This is the origination of our Charleston, SC Spoleto Festival. The hotel is very "crisp" and bright yellow tones...

Spoleto, December 2007 - one of the coldest winters in Italy! We had checked the forecast, and it indicated an average of 2º to 4º. Coming from a mediterranean island such as Malta, this was already hard to imagine. Arriving in Spoleto was easy. Found Hotel San Luca after a few turnings and a couple of indications. Parked easily right...

After reading many of the positive reviews for this property, I was ambivalent after my recent experience. Just goes to show you that there are times when you have to experience things on your own. I really wanted to love this hotel, but I......didn't. So here are my pros and cons: Pros: The staff was nice. The bathroom is impressive...

Everything written about this hotel is true, and then some. What a beautiful place to spend 3 days, I wish it could have been more. The rooms were very bright and airy, we had a corner room so we had lots of light and we overlooked the courtyard. The lobby was so pretty with all of the soup tureens around....

We just returned from a 2 week sojourn to Italy, and our 3 night stay at The Hotel San Luca in Spoleto was the absolute highlight of our trip. We highly recommend this hotel to any travelers looking for an outstanding hotel in Umbria. This family-owned hotel truly exceeded all of our expectations on service, quality/comfort of room and the...
