We stayed at this terrific family run hotel in the Dolomites the third week in July. What a wonderful area to spend a summer holiday. The hotel is right at the bottom of a pretty significant ski slope and the view up the mountain in the summer is breath taking. We had a Superior room on the slope side of...

Last year I stayed a hotel nearby that recommended this place for dinner. Last year I found myself eating there most of the trip because it was so good. The smoked venison and venison was the best. So, this year I decided to stay there and go with the half pension option. And this was my first time in going...

One of the best kept secrets in Selva if you come from abroad. This hotel has a great atmosphere, frequently updates it rooms and restaurant. The best access to the slope for both departing and arriving and conveniently situated in the village for shopping and entertainment. The food is excellent and the service as well. A family run business with...

We spend both our holidays in winter and summer in this hotel. Dinner is every evening as if you are going to a Michelin star restaurant. Rooms are perfect and clean and have a modern style design with a Tiroler signature.

As one of the organizers of an annual small group ski trip, I chose the Hotel Freina mostly because of its location close to the slopes. However, the whole group of 11 skiers lost their hearts to this charming, comfortable, friendly place and every day we all congratulated ourselves for having discovered it. The location truly can't be beat: right...

We stayed at Hotel Freina for 7 nights. The room was large with a great view overlooking the ski hill behind the house. The food in the restaurant was outstanding. The owners and all the staff were welcoming and provided fist class service. Will definately return next year !

Freina doesn't have the best food in the Dolomiti, the room are not the best I have seen, the staff are not the friendliest and the location is not perfect. However, it is still the best place to stay in the region.

My family enjoyed a wonderful meal at the hotel restaurant after a long day skiing. We were lucky to obtain a reservation as it is extremely poular. Nevertheless, the service and quality of food was tremendous. Our waitress, Stefania, spoke excellent English which is rare in Val Gardena. She took time to explain the menu and provided insights into the...
