We are a couple in our fifties; we have been skiing in Europe for over 20 years and thought this was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Firstly, the position was great for intermediate skiers like us: only a couple of minutes away from either the Costabella chair or Champinoi gondola both in the morning and...

Our family has spent winter holiday in Val Gardena region 7 times and 2 of them we stayed in Stella hotel. The hotel has 3 stars but I have stayed at 5-star hotels that provided less comfort. Specially good is their relaxation centre. But the best of all - location next to the ski lifts. Strongly recommended!

Just come back from another wonderful week at the Stella at New Year. The staff are absolutely wonderful and really treat you with 5 star hospitality. Nothing is too much trouble!! The thing I love about this hotel is the location. It is right next to the Costabella ski lift and within minutes you have access to the Sella Ronda...

A perfect place to stay for a week's skiing, a few steps from both main lifts and all the main bars for apres ski . Food was very good and enjoyed especially the Tyrolean evening and the chance to savour all the local specialities. There was also a wonderful spa to relax in after a day on the slopes. The...

On arrival we were impressed by the newly renovated lobby and bar. However we were given a room which looked straight into the chairlift at the back of the hotel. In fact if you had stood on our balcony you could have touched the people getting on the chair! We had to keep the curtains closed as they could see...

Just come back from staying another wonderful week at the Stella. We visited 2 years ago and loved it then but it has now been completely revamped and looks even better. They have a new spa with all the mod cons, only thing missing is a pool but apart from that, who needs it!! The staff there are fantastic and...

Right in the town centre; 30 seconds from the ski lifts. Beautiful reception/bar/entrance, with lovely wood-crafted decor and plenty of seating. Brand new spa with jacuzzi, sauna, steam room. Very comfortable bedrooms. LOADS of nice food; breakfast buffet with cereal's, scrambled egg, coffee, juice etc. 4/5 course evening meal including great salad buffet. Very friendly staff; particularly Aldo the barman...

It was great to be in your hotel. After a wonderful day skiing we could relax. The staff is extremely friendly and does everything to make you feel at. Aldo the bartender is a great guy. We'll be back next year. The menu choice was good and the salad bar is amazing so much choice

If we ever return to Selva di val Gardena for our Ski week, we will return to this hotel for the following reasons; 1. Great location for skiers, your 100m from 2 ski lifts, Caimpinoi connecting to sellaronda green and Costabella connecting to sellaronda orange. From Selva you have a great variety of slopes. 2. Very central therefor very comfortable...

We stayed in this hotel 4-11 Feb for our first weeks skiing in the Dolomites and it proved an excellent base for our package ski holiday. We'd agree with the previous 3 reviews on this hotel's quality and service. We'd say the decor style was a little dated or traditional, you should not think that the hotel was in need...
