The Hotel Regina is a wonderful hotel. The owner and staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Over my 10 day trip to the Dolomites this was by far the best hotel I stayed in. Highly recommended.

Completely lovely hotel: friendly and helpfull staff, amazing relax centre, delicious meals ready for each breakfast and dinner (no chance to loose on weight:) When you wake up in the morning and you will see the breathtaking view, you will definitely be motivated to go up to mountains and when coming back in the afternoon, you will apreciated relax activities in the hotel. If I could, I would stay longer than one week.
Thank Ivča I

We stayed here for 2 nights in July. The weather cooperated so that we could see the mountains and hike. Our room was facing the mountains with a balcony. The bed was roomy and comfortable. The bathroom was clean. We liked the sauna and hot tub on the deck outside. The breakfast had some good variety. We had dinner there one night and thought the buffet was good.
Thank pshafransky

Hotel located right on the Passo Rolle road as it becomes one way into town, but rooms at the back are quiet. It is a short walk to town center and the town seems quite quiet, at least in summer. Our room, 308, was very large (junior suite) and had a balcony. Great views from the windows on 3 sides of hotel. However, the bathroom was very small and the shower ab;out 3 feet wide. It was not easy to wash hair without bruising elbows and dropping things.

The decor of the room is very old fashioned - red velvet drapes, etc. but the room has carpeting and the pictures on the walls are very eclectic. Parking was a bit tight, but OK. There is an elevator.

For us, the main down side, in addition to the shower, was that the staff spoke little English and could therefore not provide any help about what to see and do. Luckily the Tourist Info office was not far away.
Thank olderfemaletraveler

I spent one week with my family in the Regina Romantik hotel and I was totally disappointed that I couldn't wait for my holiday to be over.
Let me explained, I love San Martino di Castrozza and I will go back next year! Lovely small mountain village and great ski resort but definitely not at the Regina.
We arrived on Saturday and the first thing I have noticed was the table's cloth. Dirty!!!
They only changed it on the Thursday after... So 5 days later....
The restaurant was 1 out of 5 stars!
Lots of options but one worst then the other.
I could compare the food, to the hospital's food or work's canteen.
The food was frozen or not cooked properly or over cooked. Really embarrassing for a 4 stars hotel! 705€ half board for a single room I am expecting to eat a decent meal.
The starter were in a buffet, clearly the left over of the menu starter of the previous day!
We never had a pleasure to eat a typical trentino's dish! On a Friday night we decided to eat outside because we really had enough Of that food! The breakfast another upsetting moment!!! They had leftover cakes on top of the new cakes??!!! Really in a 4stars??? And the donuts from the previous day they had the sugar already absorbed in the pastry !!! The coffee was fake, not acceptable in Italy!!! They have better machine in the airport's corridor !
The water for the tea wasn't even hot enough ! Last but not least the afternoon "merenda" only 2 out of 7 days we could eat!!! The other 5 days was so poor that we went out to the local patisserie.
Also they told us that there was a service to take us to the ski resort but on the first day and on the 5th day the brunette lady at the reception told us that it was snowing and it wasn't possible??? Really?!!! She suggested us to use local buses!!!
Very poor customer service I can't expect on a 4 stars resort.
On a positive side there was a nice spa, a lovely summing pool with sauna and a very breathtaking hot tub in the balcony overseeing the mountain. Beautiful, romantic and perfect to take pics for Facebook !
The lady at the Spa was genuine caring with 1st class service. The single room was cosy but clean, nothing more or nothing less then expected. I think that they have 4 stars only because they have a very big TV room and communal area are really big and large parking space. Unfortunately that food served there it is the worst I have ever had in an Italian hotel!
1 Thank LaraE14
