If you are middle aged and from UK, Germany, USA or Nordic then simply just avoid this place as it is not up to any reasonable standard for us discerning types. No fan or aircon Grotty outside/public areas Ultra basic interior Nasty beds and pillows No sound insulation: listen to your neighbours weeing and marvel at their capacity for storing... More

Just returned from an awesome vacation in Ravello. Residence Le Villette is located in a very handy part of Ravello. It is close to everything from the cafes and main piazza and transportation. The residence is well kept and very clean. We were lucky that the weather was great - hot during the day when we were out and cool... More

I'll be totally honest...... When we arrived at the apartment, we spent the first half an hour googling nearby hotels because we didn't want to stay. First impressions were not great and did put a damper on our arrival. The tiny dirty lift with an awful smell to take you up to the balcony to access the rooms, the outside... More

We really enjoyed our stay here, sure the other reviews are correct in that the lady who looks after the place can't speak much English - but what do you expect your off to a foreign country?!! - Some people should just stay at home. The room are basic, with no air con, but are very very clean - and... More

We travelled here as two couples for a week and had adjoining ground floor rooms. The space was great, and we all loved our outdoor terrace. It was great to have a kitchenette for meals and the apartment was quite large. It was a great location, and once we figured out that the elevator takes you to the lower road... More

As I write this review I find that I'm having to remind myself that people don't want to read other people's rants, but rather sensible, open-minded, honest accounts of their experiences. So putting to one side my dislike for this place, I will attempt to sum up our 3 day experience of Residence Le Villette as fairly as I can.... More

We stayed here for 3 nights whilst in Ravello for a friends wedding, the couples booking two rooms. The other couple only stayed one night before paying again to stay in a different hotel for the rest of the trip, which is saying something! There is no air conditioning in the place, which makes it absolutely swelteringly hot both day and night,... More

I spent a glorious week at the Residence le Villette. I liked being on top of the world and didn't mind the regular journey up & down the hills but some people might prefer staying on the coast for that reason. The crazy rides on the public bus on the narrow winding roads were a story in themselves. I wouldn't... More

Perfect for our stay in Ravello! 5 couples all very very happy! Clean and well equipped. The central heating was a Godsend! Mena was so helpful even though she couldn't speak English or us Italian!! Brilliant location too 5 minutes to the town square. Fab sun terrace and pool area. Highly recommended! Pool not heated but that's not unusual for... More

We have stayed at Villette close to twenty times and feel very much at home there. The apartments are very clean, the beds are good and the linen is changed at least once a week. Above the apartments is a large sunbathing roof with plenty loungers and shade if required, while immediately to the side is a very good sized... More
